    It's on

liking the windscreen effort - looks spot on!!
  3. Wotcha and welcome - cant help myself sorry but hopefully someone will be along with the correct info
  4. Could be an issue with the signal from the key fob not being recieved - or because the setup procedure hasnt worked correctly you could have an issue with the unit itself
  5. Easy to say go for it when it s not my car but I would be genuinely interested in the results so must give it the thumbs up :P
  6. Wotcha and welcome - with that aim in mind you will def need to look at the standard brakes ;) keep us updated, I have longterm plans for a classic myself so would be interested to see the route you take
  7. ooo def dont know this one - thought I did - loving the van though :)
  8. its a good strategy that is for sure :)
  9. Wotcha and welcome - hope it meets your expectations - take someone with you who doesnt want to buy the car as I feel a little scooby coming through :)
  10. looks like a full carbon fibre one - id go for the value one then save for that carbon one - looks the mutts!!
  11. I do like the JW racing pic - couldnt see how much it was though?
  12. ahem... so I see the thread with the laptimes table has not been updated for a couple of weeks...cough cough... :D bit of a neck sticking out here as I dont partake :)
  13. you can get a fully carbon piece as a replacement which gives a similar effect not since they changed the rules and I de mobbed - had to give the toys back at the gate :( although to be fair Matelots and firearms are not really a good combination - we are not really safe, more of a danger to ourselves than any impending threat, Marines and Army are far more qualified (safer) than we ever were :D
  14. If you are on a budget go for the option Gambit suggested if not look at JDM options or something like this from AU http://www.ultrex.com.au/subaru-forester-front-lip-my06my07-p-241.html?zenid=2cda1d915021e3d3929a96fb30aba1c2
  15. it rings a bell but will have to sleep on this one :)
  16. would something like this be an acceptable alternative?? http://www.patchdevil.com/en/product/CAR-AUTO-RACING-AUFNAeHER-PATCH-SUBARU-8x7cm.html?x0c0af=6255dfb9ca395b8e5f698a5bad8501a6&info=502 or this - a little simpler on the design? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-F1-Motorsport-Racing-Logo-Badge-Patch-/140701817706?pt=UK_Collectables_Badges_Patches_MJ&hash=item20c27b5b6a
  17. Yes it is - funny movie indeed :D
  18. Thats true and its one of the best nights out I have had, your wife would have a true experience of northern hospitality :D
  19. I dont know if what you say is true but you can run a wire / wires protected by an appropriately rated fuse to have a 12v supply which would bypass anything within the loom and have the light switch circuit connected via a relay which would be activated the existing lighting circuit to power the HID. Be aware for MOT purposes HID's need to be self levelling and have a power spray wash linked to windscreen wiper wash to pass
  20. Very smart - that will be a cracking day out
