  1. How many miles have you done on them as you will need to give them a few miles to bed in as it will all be close tolerances as everything is back to full size - you don't need to remove the reservoir cap when pushing the pistons back in so don't let that worry you. the pistons in the calipers may be stiff, as the chap fitting the replacements pushed them back it means they are not seized but they may need a clean / service
  2. Ill bet your one of the few that genuinely wants to be there though :D
  3. I think the gun metal would work - as Gambit said the WRC blue works with gold black and white so it should work ok
  4. and clearly excessive leather and gimp masks will be our USP :D
  5. Thats great to hear!!
  6. Must admit I dont know of any mobile valets in that area but have found that products available now mean you could do a great job of detailing yourself given the time - I think it was Miggs that posted about the subject. Check this site out for supplies http://www.thepolishingbooth.com/ We do know that a lot of people will view but not reply on forums as they have suffered ridicule and been berated on other parts of the web - as we are a relatively new forum by comparison it will take time for individuals to trust that this is not the case here - it also helps a great deal with people like yourself contributing as it all builds on the foundation we have, so thank you for that.
  7. Held on by a single screw / nut - not familiar with the access to them on the legacy though... workshop cleaning type will be fine use the cleaner which is designed for machine and carburettor parts - the ratio will depend on the particular brand and will be a recommendation on the side of the fluid. there are other methods on you tube using syringes, 9v batteries and brake cleaner if you fancy a different option. sort out the engine codes generated first before you pull the injectors out as it may give a clearer indication or point to a faulty sensor
  8. probably just as well - dont want your pooch looking like this at the end of a journey :D
  9. no need for apologies ;) - its shiney object / drool inducement, can help a sale.
  10. Sounds like a great idea - secondment to a major tuning house in Japan, awesome!
  11. That was great some nice editing and a lot of time spent setting up for different angles etc - 3.20 sllllllliiiiiiide ... clunk! :D I dont think you could have gone any faster the ground you were going over was clearly rough enough to loosen your fillings and a point to note the only offroading the majority of imprezas see is the occasional grass verge when parking
  12. Wotcha and welcome - that will certainly cart your dogs around rain or shine no problem
  13. Agree sounds like incorrect mixture - running lean through too much air A long shot but - do you know if the car has had the ECU altered at all as if it had been done when the engine had the deposits in place it will now be set incorrectly. Are your plugs in good condition are your injectors in good condition, you have decoked the lump but the injectors may also need some ultrasonic treatment
  14. Wotcha and welcome - lively, maybe, random and easily distracted.... oooh shiney object definitely
  15. yup echo the pics request - also with the set of ponies you are currently handling have there been any chassis mods to cope?
  16. Here are x3 different sets -admittedly not with the two tone combination but gives you an idea of look against shape http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1842-newbie-saying-hello-and-pics/
  17. Air in the system. Bleeding them should sort that out. However check for leaks, these could be with the calipers, any joint in the system or the master cylinder
  18. bumps are good :P
  19. No accounting for taste eh? what do these guys know? ;)
  20. I like splitters - agree with the comment, finishes car off and don't have to be OTT. wrt grounding - some speed bumps are bigger than others but given the thickness of the splitters in general if you get a bad bump chances are you may end up catching your front spoiler on it anyway
  21. Andy any chance you could get a photo up with the post - may generate some more interest?
  22. I think you could have a courier firm collect, someone like UPS etc who do door to door might be worth asking for dimensions and weight then getting a quote? They are located just outside New York so it shouldn't be alien to them to package things up for collection
  23. Yup looking forward to the finished result!
