  1. isnt it just a cable - nothing too high tech??
  2. Oilman (Tim) of Opie oils will point you in the right direction - might even be able to sort some forum discount for you
  3. That is certainly a great place to test drive
  4. Its a digital signal kit for the radio. the idea is you connect the kit to your existing aerial lead and you tune your radio to a particular frequency which is the signal coming from the digital kit, you then change stations using the digital tuner getting digital radio stations instead of your current head unit. here is an example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-Pure-Highway-DAB-Digital-Radio-In-Car-or-Portable-AUX-In-Out-ICT-/261111313161?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3ccb727309
  5. Nice easy fix for a change - nice one :)
  6. Now that is a body kit - I wonder how much wider it is than a standard BRZ ??? :)
  7. Is it Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief?
  8. yup used K&N filters for quite a few years always had good results
  9. ahem - never really checked to see if they are working.... only ever used standard ones from garage now brake lights fog lights etc I have been replacing my standard ones with CREE high power LED types
  10. Also if you run the Vpower type fuel as well it is good to have a map matched to that and get the benefit
  11. the initial map for your standard car is biased towards emissions at certain revs and a degree of economy to make the MPG figures quoted realistic - it will be a compromise so if you put on an induction kit and a free flowing exhaust + ensure your injectors are clean, car serviced with good plugs etc I would personally go for a remap - not for outright power but I found in the past with NA engines better drive in low to midrange because the engine is being fuelled at its optimum not for emissions
  12. With the cone filters the oil you put on them is very very small amounts the idea being to catch / hold the finest particules that would pass through the filter, I have seen people put so much oil on it is dripping off the bottom of the filter, way too much.

    New Puppy

The missus loves Tibbies - her family had them growing up - cute
  14. many cars have odd sized blades depending on the size / reach of the arms
  15. Me either always had the stubs even on aftermarket wheels and bosses
  16. the matt black does look good - Im not a huge fan of too much anodised stuff - reminds me of the stuff on 90's superbikes all got a bit tacky even though the kit can be top line
  17. shame and somewhat ironic given the films he was in - made me think of James Dean also R.I.P.
  18. sounds like the standard Subaru sigma
  19. Wotcha and welcome - what a beast some serious attention paid to that one - you know what though I think you could go 18" on the rims if you wanted to I think with the rest of the mods it wouldnt look over the top
  20. I use PIAA silicone ones - they dont have the plastic blade but they do a great job of water displacement giving clearer vision - should be standard on all new cars in my opinion
  21. Wotcha and welcome Mario - great looking car you have there
