  1. Beefy - should be good and solid those :)
  2. frustrating - clearly the chap was a moron, if you dont put a reserve on or a higher starting price its your own fault. Looks like he was trying to keep the listing cost as low as possible would be terrible if he re-lists it and gets a really high winning bid and the buyer drops out
  3. best approach - that tends to be the way with most things particularly when people have something to gain
  4. put it as a thread in the subarus for sale section see if there is a response
  5. its not a light subject, that is for certain.
  6. Jay762 replied to Gambit's topic in Junk Room
    very funny :D :D
  7. there is a fair amount of reading to be done just on SA alone, Dutch / English occupancy, discovering diamonds unsurprisingly a big fight, it goes on - throw in massive inter tribal hatred between Black nationals as well as white settlers and ever shrinking natural resources, its a bit of a powder keg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_South_Africa http://www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~cale/cs201/apartheid.hist.html http://www.indyweek.com/triangleoffense/archives/2010/07/08/a-short-history-of-the-dutch-in-south-africa-1652-2010
  8. ahhh I see - got you. there is a grey follow this topic button top right of first post under the red show new content button and above the black post reply button
  9. Still a lot of challenges on that continent for sure - certainly not going to be fixed over night
  10. there are always two sides to the story - one persons freedom fighter is another persons terrorist - the situation back then cried out for change that was how some people chose to approach it.
  11. Looking awesome -- will be going to see this one on the big screen!
  12. yes knowing the bolts supplied are incorrect is useful info - have you fed back to the suppliers as well?
  13. best approach - take your time and get it looking spot on, as well as working right - just like Savagebulldogs thread
  14. looking good buddy!! would have to see the spoiler in perspective of whole car as the darkened garage doesn't give any depth so will reserve comment until you can get a photo 3/4's or side on of the car :)
  15. nah that would be the smell country bouy :P
  16. good times :D
  17. those models come with a an SI drive dial - 3 different modes - Intelligent, sport and sport sharp - its just various sizes of grin really :D
  18. nice little movie that, I would have liked to see some of the onboard data as well as an over lay, speed revs G force etc
  19. Drive them both and then make your decision, they are different experiences ;)
  20. Some Legacys do have turbos - so you could have the best of both worlds. Turbos can be reliable if maintained / looked after as Gambit said - warming up / cooling down etc. WRT the WRX and police attention there is the spec D model with is very understated - also it tends to be how you drive and where you are which can attract the attention not necessarily the car
  21. Thanks for that may be useful to know in the future :)
  22.
  23. not driven those - M18 is closest I have got driving past
  24. Yes it is all of me - made me laugh :D
  25. reminded me of driving along the M4 at night :D
