  1. I would have had money on you getting it with the first shot - hey ho it takes me a a fair bit of thinking to find one guys wont get straight off :P
  2. doesnt look too bad - masking tape and some paint will sort those alloys out as a temp - thin spokes mean you can get away with some imperfections in the spray job - will spruce them right up
  3. right, your code comes back as a model finishing in Aug 2000 so just check with the company on the link as it may be the other one in this link - dont know if there is a difference? Even though the codes for the cat are the same http://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/Products.aspx?ID=NgAzADEAMAAzADIANgA0AHcAWABMAGwASQAnAFgAXABOACMAIQBYADcA
  4. It was photos of the whole car - we are nosey on this forum and like to see what every one else is driving and as yours is a replica it would be good to see how far you have got ;)
  5. ok so without codes this is a bit of a gamble but this link has a cat with a description that fits yours - £241 inc vat http://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/Products.aspx?ID=NgAzADEAMAAzADgANgA0AHcAWABMAGwASQAnAFgAXABOACMAIQBYADcA
  6. Wotcha and welcome - any chance you could post the model number - it should be on the plate under the bonnet on top of the strut mounting, that would help with the searching and some photos would be great ;)
  7. I have had a 3 way valve motor fail on me in the past that stopped the system working. Boilers are portrayed to be some sort of magical unit that a chosen few must touch - mine was getting noisier earlier this year, funds being tight I did a bit of research and discovered they are just like a smaller heat exchanger unit I had worked on before in the mob - the noise was coming from the exhaust fan which suffer from dry bearing shafts which stops the fan - no fan, no flow, no flow no fire up. One whistle around with the vaccuum cleaner a blast of BG Products penetrating oil and all is peachy :P
  8. Wotcha and welcome - Answered succinctly, let us know how you get on
  9. ok give away clue added ;)
  10. have you thought of using a grease gun to get the pistons out - high pressure but no sudden expansion when they go, unlike air pressure avoids flying metal?
  11. they do look well shot - amazing how bad some of these calipers are left to get
  12. yup thats it, the spray is for the areas you cannot get a panel on to
  13. I was looking at this stuff, moulds to panels a bit better than dyno mat http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/silent-coat-mat-bulk-pack.html check out this site for a range of options http://www.deadening.co.uk/?gclid=CJ_Vh4XQ0LoCFU7KtAodfyQAVw or a spray option http://www.dynamat.com/products_car_audio_dynaspray.html
  14. air getting in somewhere, defective injectors - although they are normally symptomatic of something sending an inaccurate signal to the controllers
  15. Hi Martin we have been having some challenges with the parts section unfortunately so including details in this thread or creating an indivdual thread in the subaru cars for sale is fine - I hope someone can the spares off your hands
  16. a car that you know is good will always be worth more to yourself, if you really like the car do some research and understand all your options before chopping it in at a loss
  17. If it comes to a dead end and it wont work on SOC I can host it on my side project domain - unlimited space etc just havent got to a point of my own nsite yet but all the functionality / space is there unused so give me a shout and we can sort something out - as you said not good to let it all go to waste
  18. Great thread - that wagon looks proper menacing
  19. I found this and book marked it whilst researching something else a couple of weeks back - a great tool
