Wotcha and welcome - rambling, we dont do that at all on here... you will fit right in. It is possible to have a great engine build ruined by a bad map so having mods and no map isnt necessarily a bad thing - it might be running a little lean. find a tidy example of the car you really want then you will be prepared to deal with anything it throws up.

Great turnout there that drag slag looks a beast - clean engine bay, just shows how much you can ditch in pursuit of weight loss, including the inner wheel arches :P

that sounds like an earth to me - dodgy connection possibly where the sockets have been rattled in their mounts
