  1. The original site suggests a TD04 from the impreza wrx
  2. Wotcha and welcome - I have a 2008 2.0 Sport hatch auto with 79K on. Car has not missed a beat engine wise. Only had to service, replace a weeping bush on the rear diff mount, brake pads tyres etc. Engine has been solid. A recent post on another forum returned similar responses from other owners. I am looking at doing the head gaskets just purely as a precaution because the material used by Subaru is not particularly good quality - I have no issues with them at the moment.
  3. Strange - The link threw up an error for me also but when searching the site you can find it... I copied the link to find it is exactly the same as posted but still does not work Some details, follow the link then look for the AV Panel: Subaru AV PANEL SET (Japanparts No :107-209-006) https://www.japanparts.com/parts/list.php?dl=1&cm=6&md_sm=25:142
  4. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to share photos and get stuck in, all friendly on here ๐Ÿ‘
  5. I have intermittent hill descent control - when my wife is a passenger if the descent is too rapid there is a loud alarm that goes off ๐Ÿ˜†
  6. how early do you mean? you will have a 5 x100 pcd which is the same as my RX but I am unclear as to the offset before 2008 even if the pcd is the same but from 2008 will fit This company reckon a 2005 will fit... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-WRX-turbo-newage-1993-2005-5X100-Space-saver-spare-wheel/143253012347?fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru|Model%3AImpreza|Cars+Year%3A2008&hash=item215a8b7f7b:g:30IAAOSw0xBc3BdZ
  7. I am in the same boat chum so can fully empathise โ˜น๏ธ
  8. I was considering this brand as winter wheels https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Alcar-steel-wheels-9552-6-5x16-ET48-5x100-for-Subaru-Outback-Forester-Legacy-I/264454357562?fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru%7CModel%3AOutback%7CCars+Year%3A2014&hash=item3d92b5423a:g:kr0AAOSwsxVdcOze
  9. Wotcha and welcome. This site does not list a 16 inch rim option for your motor...? https://www.wheel-size.com/size/subaru/outback/2014/
  10. Not managed it with my RX Auto - as you say just speeds up - I do put it in the manual mode to keep it in the same gear though
  11. Try Kidderminster MOT Mike knows his way around a Subaru but they can be busy so may not take it on Building 329, Unit 1a, Rushock Trading Estate, Rushock, Droitwich WR9 0NR
  12. Wotcha and welcome - just down the road from me - feel free to share pictures, get stuck in etc all friendly on here
  13. Wotcha and welcome - love a Hatch me ๐Ÿ˜
  14. Wotcha and welcome - we do love a photo here so feel free to jump in all friendly ๐Ÿ‘
  15. Steering rack off - to be replaced by one from a 16 plate STI Ratio going from 15.1 (top) to 13.1 (bottom) Just need to swap the arms over
  16. lovely kit - wrong pcd for the STI and unfortunately I could not justify them for the RX ๐Ÿ˜ Good luck with the sale
  17. Wotcha and welcome - much as I am a fan of the subaru brand and product, they do not do a good diesel engine, they are subject to various failures. The 3.0 H6 engine is really reliable sounds great with an aftermarket exhaust or if you want something with possibility of tweaking go for the 2.0 twinscroll turbo If you want something that performs from the outset look for an Sti import
  18. I have owned Kawasaki and Yamahas for years - could never work out why I repeatedly chewed the heads on the front brake reservoir cap screws ๐Ÿ™„
  19. Here is a similar example to mine but different part number on box https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/08-14-SUBARU-WRX-STI-IPOD-30PIN-CABLE-INTERFACE-FACTORY-OPTION-CONNECTOR-09-10/253272529763?epid=1823967001&hash=item3af8381b63:g:XKIAAOSwQcJaFbR1
  20. I have removed a module from my slightly later impreza that might fit dependant on the connections at the back s/n A040049040645 Dont know if you have a manual but it might reference this for classic ipod connection. If not it might be an audio rca l/r module that goes in your centre compartment
  21. Sorry to hear but good lick with the sale and some photos tend to help more views
