Using a cobra cat back myself on the RX good quality piece of kit, has a single resonator but that makes it slightly louder than standard without being obtrusive so getting a non resonated item will obviously increase volume further but for me it was quality of material and ease of fitment that stood out

Looking good - watch for rubbing of pipework on the oil filler cap

Wotcha and welcome - Love a hatch me 😍 Look for the usual - service history, belt changed around 40k, emulsification of oil in the coolant lids - radiator and reservoir, blue smoke on start up, even wear on tyres. Feel under rear wheel arches (there is a lip) for rust bubbles. check wheels for any grease, a split cv joint sprays a thin layer all the way around. Paint on the interior is thin check door cards handles and centre console for chips - not expensive to rectify but give and indication of treatment. A clunk from front suspension when driving slowly forwards / backwards then applying brake could be tophats keep us posted

What colour is the smoke - blue would indicate oil from valve stem seals, black is more likely running rich - whiteish is coolant being burnt. It may be my ignorance but I cannot see how changing the oil filter will affect exhaust smoke?

nice one - have found my RX has 15mm rear ARB / sway bar, that cannot be good for stability

Thanks - I have seen various discussions online about how he has tried different diameter tubes / fittings, my concern is taking too much coolant away from where it is being routed to after the head on cylinder 4

Fixed a worn heat shield that was rattling against the exhaust and replaced rear diff front mount (weeping bearing) on the RX with the alloy version from the STI, a 0.75Kg weight saving Before OEM mild steel item with leaking bush Slight difference in shape due to the larger diff on the STI but mountings all line up STI alloy item in place with small gap in the cut out but as it is bolted to the unit itself I have no concerns

Reach out to breakers and they may eventually turn something up - other than that I would buy the kit and sell the filter you have if you want it sooner rather than later?
