  6. 16k for a car thats having the living nuts thrashed out of it :o
  7. what power you running? Anything bigger than a TD04 will see an improvement when a front mount is fitted and mapped. thing is people get hung up on claims it causes lag. unless you get one with a stupidly large core then they don't. once you swap out the standard turbo you see improvements in power from a front mount, cooler temps allow more aggressive timing with the map, issue is always heat so improving the air cooling leaves more wiggle room for the mapper.
  8. if yoiu liked 2 you'll like 3, bit like farcry 3 and 4 and fallout 3 and 4, basicly revamped same game. not got the latest tomb raider, got the previous one and did enjoy thatas well. Im now netless for a month so not gonna be getting much new for a bit now :(
  9. like all tuning varies from car to car, was pushed to just over 400 and then backed off due to temps. i wouldn;t wanna run more than that on a top mount thats for sure
  10. I've got it, tbh its just a revamped jc2. tis goo fun though :D i'd wait till its on offer then buy it and if you want something to play now try JC2
  11. pmsl, there's always one who has to lower the tone,,,, lol
  12. o and they are bloomin goo offers them :D
  13. thats a 2.5 mate, no chance of getting a torque figure or spool like that on a 2.0 ;) Was limited by the top mount, had an sti one on it and was getting temp issues.
  14. lol, yeah. bbc is rapidly going downhill even in my eyes. Interesting the budget is 150mill short, with £42mill a year from top gear which will drop off of the next few years its only gonna get worse for them
  15. 3 years early as well http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35149963
  16. As said, for the cost it's a pretty pointless exercise. Trading it in for a wrx or sti is a far cheaper option and get alot more bang for your buck.
  17. Welcome, forged 2.5 if its gonna be a road car :D
  18. Time to dispell some myths ;) First off the standard 2.5 is pretty poor, ringlands and headgaskets are known to fail. However built right, there fine to 450bhp and keep the right side of reliability. For road use a built right a 2.5 is about as good as it gets in scoob, the low down grunt they produce makes them spool allot better than 2.0's. Anything above 450 then block needs work, pinning is an option but personally i'd go for close deck converting given its only about £500 give or take. In fact i just have. Just finished running in my closed deck 2.5 converted Type R. I had a forged 2.5 in my old hawk and yet to see anyone get near this on a 2.0. I've had 2.0's and i've had 2.5's and i'd go 2.5 all day long
  19. Oil change every 5k then rest of it as per recomended spec. Anyone leaving oil in a subaru (turbo model i should add) for 12k needs to go ask someone in the know and start doing it more often
  20. Totally agree on the samco ones, wouldn't have a set of them either.
  21. Be interesting to see how these last, normaly cheap ones give up the ghost pretty quick
  22. welcome :)
