  1. one from sva?
  2. about going rate for a decent one now amazingly enough. what you get is really down to budget, you'll struggle to find a decent type r for under 10k now
  3. very different cars tbh. P1 is closer to the turbo 2k due to having more niceties than the the type r. Type r is a much raw ride given the lack of sound deadening, shorter ratio box and is more tail happy due to the dccd. I've had a turbo 2k which i took from nigh on standard to a 340bhp fully moded car bar the main engine and currently got a type r, but i went via a M3 and a 400bhp hawk wrx hahaha. Personally i'd want a type R, but given the P1 is a special edition i can see the appeal for one of them as well. I do know a p1 thats just had a full respray and engine build that's up for 12k which is middle of the p1 price range but given the condition the one i'd go for if i wanted a p1 given it's mint.
  4. Run it on vpower or tesco 99, not just super. super is typicly 97 ron. rempa gives better mpg becuase off boost they are normaly very rich from the factory and and can have the fuel backed off
  5. alot more raw performance, especialy if its a sti
  6. that does not sound good at all.
  7. why do people talk about stages, what complete rubbish. anyway that said, is it a full custom map?
  8. Better option to drive it steady for the first few and last few miles. Makes sure all fluids get circulated properly and heated/cooled evenly. Save yer money

not really common enough to find one with a duff engine. tbh if you were going to to that may as well buy an sti and drop 2k into getting the dodgy bit sorted. dunno im only pondering on options at the min. want a reliable awd daily that wont cry when snow arrives lol
  19. what options? you mean open source? thats knocked of ecutek software lol
  20. not sure whos mapping at zen now? paul's off working for ecutek
