  1. 0/35 by the time i get up to clinic that will be enough milage :D Turbo has now been decided, bit of a special one off that should make for a decent figure an cracking spool, bit of a test bed so if it doesn't work will be plan B. Gonna be dropping it off some time in the next week or so and it will be with em for a few weeks while we move house and sort some stuff out :D
  2. yeah looks to be about £1300 ish? doesn't include for a fuel pump that will be a good idea on a wrx.
  3. no mate, mapping roughly £350-400, license is around £200, add give or take £100 for dyno.
  4. £1000 for a full decat, panel filter and map? seem to cheap to be true.
  5. the one i post includes license fee mate.
  6. Is that just for a map? sounds pricey, nto sure whos doing there mapping now either http://scoobyclinic.com/ecu_mapping.htm + vat but that makes it £660 for comparison

the amount of air it will add will need to a trippls pump 10,000cc injector, twin swirl pot fuel setup,,,,, hahahahaha

  12. lmao, 0/55
  13. how come?
  14. driven it another 70 miles :D yeah sounds like a lame thind to just say, but im now 80 miles off completing the running in :D

is that done at delivery time? sounds like one of these treatment things dealers do to protect the paint etc
  16. always bad timing init. But as said get it checked out first to rule out anything else. If its just a bush it will be alot cheaper
  17. Personal choice would be the pedders ezifit or what ever there called, uprated shocks, lowering springs, new top mounts and come as a complete unit for easy fitting. There no where near as hard as most coilovers
  18. sounds typical rear shock knock :( get it checked out cos could be a worn bush, but my money would be on shock's gone. Is a good excuse to upgrade though ;) Nice set of pedders all in one would be a good option (non wagon fitment so assuming yours is a saloon) and don't forget will need a full alignment doing
  19. Don't need to mate, if mapper doesn't know what it should be then walk away cos there clueless
  20. That price will be open source, I wouln't use it myself due to lack of support for technical issues. Also make sure a proper road test is included in the price
  21. Tends to be the cheaper end and those that charge that I wouldn;t trust to map my toaster
  22. Anywhere from £350 upwards depending on what system they use and if dyno or road. Cheaper is in no way better when it comes to mapping subarus. Personally i wouldn't use road mapping due to insurance reasons and I would use a garage that does mechanical work as well so if an issue is found they can put it right, not charge you for coming back again.
  23. yeah you should see some improved mpg, the standard map is pretty rich off boost so mapper can back the fuel off, typically 14 to 1 off boost and 11 to 1 on boost
