  3. Welcome to the club. Check the spoiler, they bolt through the deck lid (beetle fan :) ) and can leak through there. Check you rubbers and how well they seal around the boot itself. A way to test to see where the leak is, is to climb inside the boot, shut it and the missus to spray the boot with a hose or jet wash, pretty sure she won't mind doing this :D. Use a torch inside the boot to look for leaks. Then hope the missus lets you back out . Also check the inner rear wing where the jack is for water, and the opposite side behind the boot liner, mine pooled in there and I had to get a pump from halfrauds to suck it out. Turned out the boot lid was warped after some one rear ended me, and the body shop missed it as it still fit when they reassembled. Won't be using them again.
  4. Is it when you turn the ignition on. Or when you start the engine? If it just ignition then I'd say fuel lines. Can't see why water would start flowing round the heater matrix until the engine is running and the water pump working.
  5. I wrote my classic off a few years ago in a head on crash and bought it back as a Cat D. it had bent the front ns chassis leg, got a bulkhead from Grade A Subaru and repaired the car for a fraction of the engineers estimate. Worth doing if you have the car checked out properly when fixed.
  6. Hope you gave the numpty on the bike an earful!

  10. They look a bit like Volk racing TE37. Have a look at rays wheels, they include Volk and Gram lights. I'm saving for some C28N 10 spokes myself. Here's the link to the aus site as the .com seems to be down at mo. You can get them from the UK just take a bit of finding. http://rayswheels.com.au/html/products.html

  18. EBC all the way for me. Ive ran both yellow and red stuff pads. the yellow stuff were better but then they were the next gen compared to the red stuff. I've always bought my pads from EBC Direct. thik this are the correct one for your car. but prob best to put in the reg number and do another search. http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/parts_pad.asp?part=pad&make=SUBARU&model=Impreza&year=2%2E5+Turbo+WRX+%282007%2D%29
  19. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-2-0-Turbo-2000-/121250844435?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c3b1d0f13 It's a pretty good Low mileage green turbo 2000 not the rarest but a well kept example. It's low mileage only 8.5k full history upto 2010, 2 owners. Still has all the original bumph with it. I'd say it's priced high. Should be near 6.5k For 10k I'd expect it to be a ltd edition like a P1 or a mint series McRae.
  20. I can see the point of it, just strikes me a nightmare from the buyers point of view and hassle for the seller in the timing of the refund.
  21. Give Pete a call at South East Imprezas 07891129485. He a breaker based in Surrey, bit of a way but I'm sure a man with a van can be hired to ship it. He's got a v2 sti in at the moment.
