  1. Cut out the rust to good metal and weld in new
  2. On the uo side I know I can't afford it πŸ˜” on the down side I can't afford it πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ
  3. Brakes pipes are easy to sort, emissions might come down enough if you take it for a good run and get it hot just before its due for testing, the welding can always be sorted just depends how bad it is and how much time and money you want to spend
  4. First thing is note the codes down and then clear them, then see if they come back on, they dont seem to point to a misfire. If you've changed plugs, leads, coil make sure you have firing order correct if so so try compression test
  5. You've done better than me ,I've managed to snap a few, but at least I've not bust the trim but then plan to have it on road this summer has changed a little πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ
  6. Getting there and looking good, now you have tell how you got the window trims off so I can remove mine without breaking them πŸ€”
  7. I've removed this lot And added a bit of colour
  8. Drivers sill now finished
  9. Looking good πŸ‘
  10. It's been a long slow process as it wasn't just the outers, when the sills are finished I'll have used 2 sheets of 3x2 and 1 arch repair panel (thanks savage). But I can now see light at the end of tunnel, just hope it's not train coming 😯
  11. That's the back end nearly finished now for the sills
  12. Started to fill and prime
  13. Thanks I feel a bit better about it now
  14. Thanks savage I've got alkatec running mafless with added air temp sensor in the inlet
  15. Anyone? I'm guessing it was done when new ECU was fitted
  16. Had a few more hours of cutting, grinding and welding and thought it would be a good idea to buy a vf43 to replace the td04 😁😁
  17. Also check throttle cable not sticking and runs freely
  18. This weekend we have gone from thisto this
  19. You should get coolant out of that bleed, with engine off bleed open fill coolant to top should push air out if that dont work try having it vacuum bled
  20. The top of the 2 pipes for the heater looks like it has a bleed valve on it, loosen it and see if you get coolant coming from it
  21. Good morning Not a lot of time for the Subaru this last 18 month or soπŸ˜ͺ, but was poking about the other day and found this and was wondering if anyone could shed light on why its disconnected. Thanks Neil
  22. What tidy said
  23. It will blow cold if no water in, you need to make sure you have no leaks and fill and bleed the cooling system so there is no air trapped before you go any further
  24. I think the stat is on bottom front left of engine, I would check it if only one hose is getting hot
  25. Luckily the strut mounts are in one piece it's JUST πŸ€” the inner arches, outer arches, sills, bumper mounts and a bit on the rear panel . It's been off road about 18 month so far, only took it off road for a week to sort a bit of a bubble under paint 😱
