  1. Yeah I've seen a couple on there and few on other places, no ide if yours is the same dimensions as mine, all the ones I've come across have been to long to fit in the battery tray or to wide [emoji35] Then again whats not to say I haven't got the correct sized tray in there in the 1st place ?
  2. Mines just about had it so been hunting around toady for one, however I can't find anything that is the same size as my old one I'm presuming I need another 60amp one not sure about the cold crank capacity, the higher the better as I have The only thing on mine is s sticker that says 005l ? And it's dimensions are roughly in mm 205 high 160 wide and 225 in length Like I say seen loads that would appear to be suitable except when it comes down to the physical size
  3. Battery only just caught when and had to crank for ages only been out in the cold for 1 night, today I be mostly battery shopping, So much choice is it really worth getting something like an optima or oddesey battery for some extra money ?
  4. Yeah subaru parts aren't the cheapest, have you tried any subaru breakers ? Mb developments may be worth a shot as are these chaps http://www.subaru-spares.co.uk/ Just make sure you get the right tensile strength bolts from your local place, ☺
  5. Drop David1972 a pm he's had a foz and now on a legacy so is the man to speak to, I are you looking for a turbo or n/a car ? Either way I wouldn't expect to see a great deal more than 30-35 mpg on a good run, round town is more like mid to high 20 's
  6. You'd need to have the hangers re aligned and an extra couple of inches adding to it as the impreza exhausts are slightly shorter meaning it won't clear the bumper
  7. Where did you get the osram bulbs from Jay ? My car doesn't seem to like the eBay special led sidlights and keeps blowing them after a couple of months
  8. Seems a bit odd for someone just to remove the driveshaft ! Could try a subaru dealer on ebay called impartsb46 they sell loads of dead stock Or www.importcarparts.co.uk if it's not listed on the site give them a bell as they should be able to source or point you in the right direction. As for the seats i'd assume so but you never know can you find a swift to have a look at ? Alternatively if the swift seats are cheap enough you could probably adapt the rails
  9. Try import car parts www.importcarparts.co.uk they should have the dust shields and would either be able to source the nuts or let you know where to get them from
  10. Sorry mate,I ment cosworth make filters for the classic shape inpreza, if your gonna do it i'd get everything ready and fit it the say before the map as the bigger injectors will be throwing the fueling out and will be a pig to drive,
  11. You would see some gains ut your correct in thinking a decat would be the most effective method of expelling the gasses faster, if you didn't want to got that route you could got for a single highflow sports cat to keep it more mot friendly
  12. Hello & welcome lovely looking car
  13. Hello & welcome, very nice ! I've absolutely no idea on the cossie hatches think I've only ever seen one in the wild.
  14. Sorry mate, been a bit hectic, If your running a td04 trubo it won't hit much past 270 on a good day, so td05 or equivalent vf series turbo, cosworth panel filters are pretty good as non oiled so won't mess up the maf, check what colour your injectors are if they are grey you may want to go up to a 440cc injector which is yellow in colour if I'm right, if they are yellow or blue in colour you'll be fine
  15. Have you checked in the engine bay on the bulk head ? Seen a few there on subaru's before
  16. There's Andy Carr www.teamcarr.net Or http://www.tegsport.co.uk/ Or dunc www.racedynamix.com will travel. My advise is to drop them all an email and discuss your needs, do a load of research online about each one
  17. You're better off with a remap to make the most of the decat, you would also be able to put the induction kit back on if you want as will be mapped for it, and you'll get more boost and torque, as for the intercooler, take it off and get a pair of tweezers and some little picks a beer and just straighten the fins out, takes some time but cheaper and the one you have on is a v3 ? I think, is the best of the classic coolers for efficency
  18. Speak to mfnick he has one for sale, may be worth a pm as not posted for a while
  19. Hi mate, maybe try spring coil in Sheffield they will make you a spring to your spec so if you speak to them, they should be able to get something to your needs
  20. same one ? As for lambda http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=9635&cat=96⊂=103&sec=3006&var=47&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= Should be the same as this but I'd ring them before ordering
  21. Are you ready for a sit down, if it's the same purple maf as mine it's about 350 quid ! As you need to but the whole unit as opposed to the drop in element [emoji22] I'll dig out part no on the lambda for you in a min
