  1. Between your misses accusing me off not owning a 'propper subaru ' and your other site hating i'm going off you hahaha
  2. Need to be more open minded and liberal mate [emoji12]
  3. Guy over on another site made up a load of subaru themed beer labels, mine arrived in the post today
  4. No idea do you have windscreen cover on your insurance ?
  5. Have you done the plugs ? What fuel do you use normally ? Could you post up which filter you got as I have up in end
  6. Which belt ? The alternator one or are you on about something else ? If alternator look in front of it between the rad and block you'll see a long bolt pointing down, just tighten that until you can just flex the belt with your thumb a little, As for tyres I think it's around 32 front 30 back but unsure
  7. I used Duncan as was one of the only options for my car, open source is ok and if your not wa ting 5+ maps anti lag launch etc ut will be fine, admittidley you don't get as much support as you would do from a syvecs system or similar but for normal road use it's all good, drop him a mail and tell him what you have and your goals and ge'll advise what would be best. Alex when you having yours done ? I need a tweak to my map and may as well try and fit in around you
  8. Lol I wouldn't take anything as concrete with foz's Mine seems to have been cobbled together with whatever they had lying around, the top mounts at the rear are newage shape and the fronts classic [emoji85] If your stuck with parts,Tim at scooby parts is a legend, he'll go out of his way to help and will measure parts before they get shipped to make sure they fit.
  9. No idea mate, the fsti is different to the rest of them I think, would opening the hole up a little with a dremmil be an option ? If your not keen on that I'd have a word over on uk foz may get a better answer on there
  10. Import car parts is your best bet for cheaper oem sensors
  11. I'm 'classic' spec so millers 10-40 full synth. Mild mods and a map 130ish k on the clock
  12. Knock the idle up to 800rpm and I'll see over two bar on tick over
  13. I'd buy one and swap the one in the top of the system 1st as they are quite expensive, be a shame to but two when may not be needed, of the code goes then happy days, if not stick the old one back in and swap new one with the one you haven't swapped, again if goes out happy days. That way your not spending un necessarily.
  14. What does it idle at? Obviously weather plays a part too mine idles at 700 rpm and I see anything from 1.7 to 2.3 bar, depending on how long the engine has been at operating temp, I wouldn't worry too much, keep an eye out for the next couple of days see what the average is, could just be down to a different oil
  15. Yours is a 2001 so will be the last of the v5/6's it may even share some parts with newage bug eyes being an ej205, as all the foz's I've come across haven't been as simple as just looking at the same impreza, yours may have a td04 I'm not sure, best off having a look at the turbo, if you look down at the hot side, 'facing you as look at the car' it will have a model number stamped on it Scooby ghost can tell you what a minefield it is as his ej205 engine needed different gasket seals to what was recomend when he called the dealer. Again I've had loads of problems getting parts,my maf is listed as a legacy part, the airbox to turbo inlet hose is a v5/6 measurement even though the engine is based upon the v3/4 impreza so if in any doubt measure twice take pics and Ask loads of questions ☺
  16. Whoop snow ! We've just got biblical rain here [emoji25] My maf cleaning looks like it didn't work that well and is playing up again. ****
  17. I'd guess 5l will do you the 2.0 engine uses about 4.5-4.7 litres depending on how much you get out,
  18. I'm not sure about the exhaust housing or intake, diameters I'll have a search around
  19. I'm trying to find a pic for you I'll measure the dimensions and snap a pic of the top of gear knob
  20. Dave, any chance of you being able to make up a six speed Saab gearknob selector decal ? It's a bit of an odd Shape
  21. It's ok I'm sending a load of timber down to ghost's house so they can make his door frames wider [emoji23]
