  1. If your that unsure about it I'd be inclined to keep looking. If it was my car I'd be showing more willingness to sell it If that makes sense
  2. I've not spoken to Duncan yet but it was around 600 for the board and map. Sadly I just don't have the funds to get it all done at once at the moment. The misses has other ideas as to where the money should be going
  3. Yeah plugs match, cheers mate good sensible answer, I was only clutching at straws really, you know when Someone goes ah I've got this and all kinds of possibilities were going through my head, mainly involving loads of det and tears and money vs some more boost haha. Think I'll try and get my hands on a spare 4w ecu send it to esl then save up for a map
  4. Been offered this ecu today, it's out of a v3 ra so I know it's mapped for 100ron but I'm guessing mine is anyway being an import. So should I stay away and keep my money or is it worth a punt to pop in my car and risk some serious worry and possible melt down both financially and mentally ? What turbo and injectors did the ra have ? Just thinking it's cheaper than an esl board but may not be in long run
  5. My engine paranoia has returned, seems to be making a 'different' high pitched knocking sound, probably just the cold affecting both my mind and the engine
  6. Oof nasty bit of tin worm there [emoji35] what's the pan for the shell weigh it in ?
  7. The issues can be addressed with a remap mate, a few had Ringland failure and we're recalled by subaru. If yours has a prodrive map I wouldn't worry as it was incorporated in the package
  8. May have some clearance issues with the offset, rubbing on the rear struts, could always get some spacers I think,

  10. Hi mate, not sure is yours an early classic ? Never seen the bov in that position either, I take it that's an after market intercooler ? Is the top port on your boost soliniod not connected because of the manual boost controller ? Anyway the pic of the aftermarket bov looks like it's for an v3-4 car which fits in the elbow what leads away from the right hand side of the cooler on most cars.
  11. To be honest if you took the wheel off marked the position of the existing bolt locations, you could whip them out pop in the new ones aligning them roughly with the old marks and drive it slowly to Rev's for them to align it all properly. Just depends on how much then want to charge you to do it
  12. Yep 48 I'm not really wanting to change anything like that as I know it can affect handling. I know some people have 55's on which rub so I didn't want to go too close. I see a lot of wv wheels with 38 offset wouldn't that play havoc with ride ? Wheels are one thing I'm not that clued up on. Never actually changed to an aftermarket set on any of my cars.
  13. The bolts would be a 5 min job mate so I don't see why they wouldn't.
  14. If your gonna spend some money have you looked at the hybrids Andy forrest and other firms do ?
  15. Maybe it's just the engine, How many miles has it done ? Nick was saying the guy that was mapping his said it took to the mods really well and extra power was easily extracted
  16. I'm just perusing the Web at the mo and I've come across a couple of sets with the correct offset probably not going to buy them but just curious. I don't really know about offsets and all that, There is another set that are the same width 6.5" but a 53mm offset
  17. By all accounts up to 15 hp with equal length headers. There's a back to back dyno comparison that a US site did to see what the benefits were. I'll see if I can find it again as was interesting read
  18. Cool I'll move now for you [emoji16]
  19. If I wanted to go from a 7" to a 6.5" would I have any issues ? Same diameter and offset as original wheels.
  20. What offfest are they ?
  21. Been looking at these for a while, how effective are they ? I've read that due to not having a rubber shroud it wouldn't work as well ? Got to be better than the stock as it has a diverter
  22. Mat be a but saggy at the rear due to different springs
  23. Haha sorry mate, tend to go off on a tangent. Super pro front droplinks fitted on sat and Thursday the whitline rear links went on. Pitch stop done a couple weeks ago, Still waiting for scooby clinic to send out the turbo blanket, starting to **** me off a little to be fair chase it up every week only to be told they are arriving from the states any day soon. Should have just got my money back when they offered, y pipe won't be here till after Christmas, underseat sub finally stuck to the floor and managed to finish off the waxoil to the arches. Next things to tick off are gonna cost a fair bit, so this month it's time to pay for holiday then back to car parts [emoji16]
  24. Different for us mate, we only have the one 02 sensor upstream, new age have two one up and one down, plus the pre cat in up pipe. was told if you change the filter or decat you'll be fine but if you do Both then you get problems with afr and can run into some serious problems
  25. Hello welcome, the ninja and raptor cat back systems from scooby world are fairly well priced and seem to have good write ups with regards to sound
