    He'll tell you it's cos his misses was in the car, I'd speak to Andy forrest, email is easier than phone, Just tell him you've just got the car and although you have a dyno print your unsure of what fuel it was mapped on and if it has al & launch, if not how much would you be looking at to have them and a boost controller added

    Ash drives like a granny anyway [emoji12] In your paperwork dose it tell you who did the remap ? If so I'd contact them as the Al & launch can be added easily enough, the boost controller will need mapping so the original tuner may just charge you a 'tweaking' fee instead of the full cost of an entire remap. If you looking at controllers I'd get an electronic one but then again the mapper may have his own recommendations

    I'd pay someone to do the gaskets for around 100 quid and an hour and a bits work it's well worth it. To say they are a pain is an understatment

    Been looking at theses for a while, wanted to take something other than my phone on holiday amongst other things, After seeing nicks hero 3 briefly yesterday got me wondering if the 3+ is worth the extra 50 quid. So what does everyone have how do you rate them ?

    Turns out it's a thermostat o ring gone, charged me 151 for the privilege of a new o ring pair of wiper blades and some coolant

    I'm.under the impression you just turn a knob or similar from recirc to vta. May be wrong though

    Hello welcome, [emoji16] Best place for spare parts I find is www.importcarparts.co.uk If you can't find what your looking for give them a ring as they will probably have it or be able to get what your after. As for insurance did you go through one of the 'major' companies. Quite a lot of us use specalist brokers which brings the cost down significantly

    Don't suppose the previous owner left any paperwork for it ? What serial numbers are on the back of the fob, If any ? I've just replaced my fob to an after market alarm, found that as long as the fcc id from the old fob matches the new fob it should work. How old do you suspect the alarm to be ?

    The vin plate should tell you the engine code too. I presume so as the turbo sits in the same place in all models, you should have one cat in the downpipe and another cat in the middle. Mr B (forum member) he's an independant subaru specalist, is your best bet maybe send him a private message and he'll be able to help out as my knowledge of the sg is limited. However I think that most 'new age ' impreza of the same year parts should fit
