  1. What have you spied ?
  2. Hello welcome 2nd Steve ' comments if your in the trade parts will be cheap and they are easy to work on, all you really need is two screwdrivers and 4 sockets for the majority of most jobs got 5o love jap cars ! Nothing wrong with saxo's but it's a completely different kettle of fish, plus bits won't fall off when they feel like it [emoji16]
  3. Hello sorry, there's not many foz owners around here let alone anyone with an sti. the forester is basically an impreza with a slightly higher ride and body. The sti sits lower than the normal foz so if your not too picky about ground clearance no worries. They tend not to have had the same abuse as some impreza have as they are a bit more under the radar. Early 2.5 engines had problems not sure about the sti ones you'd have to Google it. Are you looking at fresh imports or ones already here ? A bike wouldn't fit in without the seats down, maybe just if you remove the front wheel. The gtb would be a bit older and a lot tend to be auto's as for performance they both have around 280bho standard, the newer foz would be easer to tune as you'd be looking at a map and a few other supporting mods will easily see 330 and a load of torque.
  4. Gutted mate ! Hope it gets fixed ok, I've got a better one, My mates just pulled up to pump at asda petrol station, guy at pump in front finishes pays gets in his car sticks it in reverse and proceeds to drive half way up his bonnet, guy gets out and starts kicking off saying why have you drive into me, so they go in to view the cctv at this point the cashier is !Removed! himself. As the guy doesn't have a leg to stand on. He goes bright red and pulls out a wedge of notes. Pays my mate 250 bits and does one sharpish
  5. Looks about right, subaru did change the size of them a while back and there are differences between the blue and black filters. I know it's a blueprint part but Ipc won't sell you the wrong one. If I was you I'd pat a couple of quid extra and buy a genuine filter
  6. At the moment 1.15.9
  7. Just the govt being complete fools considering the most polluting vehicles on our roads are busses takes the ****. Just another way to do over the motorist. Trouble is all your sports high end sports cars don't get driven that much so in real world terms they don't pollute that much
  8. stants replied to quit's topic in General Subaru Chat
Buy the cheap one and a decent trickle charger
  9. Have you had a go at googling it? as it brings up a load of stuff on why it won't fill have a look at the charcoal canister under the rear bumper, the lines get clogged and either need unblocking or the canister needs replacing.
  10. Ordered a new vehicle dock to get dash cam working again, and also have a bitwriter coming so I can get my new key for to work.
  11. Had an investigate on way to work, does seem quieter when the clutch is in but I was on my own I'll take my dad out over weekend see if his ear can pinpoint it
  12. If you remove the lower panel to get better access at the footwell you can also wiggle the wires up the side of the top of the dash and push it back up towards the a pillar, with the gauge pod sitting a bit further out than the pillar it should sit behind it easily with no need to remove
  13. Not sure about newage, but the others you lift the floor mat and look directly towards the firewall and there's a rubber grommet, push through that and it's comes out Below the brake master cylinder/servo
  14. Got to love auto correct !
  15. Now I'm confused, doesn't take much to be fair
  16. To be fair I'm probably worrying over nothing, I always start the car and leave it for 5-10 mins while I lock up and turn everything off, and was crawling trough traffic for a further 5 mins at least
  17. You got a sticker ! I got nowt the other week unless it's stuck on the ecu. Had a complete nightmare all day people being twats cutting me up in van and on way home in car. Red mist descended so I gave it some now I'm worried that I gave it too much while it wasn't warm enough ? On the plus side I've just had an email from a shipping company to say my 'car parts' have been shipped to work, trouble is I can't remember what 5he hell I've ordered
  18. That on the set of wagon shocks ? Look the same so that's good [emoji16]
  19. I slackened off the rear wheels and had a look did back up and drove home, the sound comes from the left while turning right, seemed quieter, it may just be the shonky tyres i have on the rear, but will deffo try your advice Clive cheers
  20. Haha I used to make the misses smoke outside before she gave up Not sue Mr b paperwork is a bit vague, look like this The company that sourced them and the car used to import quite a bit
  21. I think it's called creative auto, had the link somewhere but deleted my phone memory [emoji35] no they just do accessories I'm afraid
  22. Only really noticed a slightwhining noise recently as been getting used to the increased nvh from the new mounts and bushes, Only happens when turning right at speed, and appears to come from the rear ? it may have been there all along and I'm just hearing it now as I'm not using the load cover. Where do I start looking ?
  23. I take it you found out who the other two belonged to ?
  24. Sorry mate I missed the post. I'm not sure but if the rear tops look like so your laughing
