  1. Is it an upgrade in thickness to the standard bar ? The sf model has a tiny bar but will have to buy the reinforced supports too so I'll be looking to upgrade in the future when funds allow, will be interesting to hear your views once its been driven for a while
  2. Good bit of info there [emoji106]
  3. Fair enough, I'd book in for a major service for peace of mind, do you have a specialist in your area ?
  4. Supplies us with cakes and buns at the meets then does this ! How rude ! ;-)
  5. Fitted headder tank spacer kit & today earthing kit's going in both items are probably negligible in there benefits but who cares :-D
  6. Did gem mention anything about coming ?
  7. Haha well if everyone didn't keep deserting me in west yorks I could have roped in some more people ! That lad with the classic joined up a month or so ago hasn't been back and I've not seen his car around either. Ash may have managed to get some more people from the meet last night. It'a very frustrating aren't we only one car short now ? Too easy to like stuff on fb just for the kudos of being associated with it. I think it's time for gambit to suit up and we'll start going round the houses
  8. When was the last time you changed the pas fluid ? May be worth doimg that see if it helps matters along with a new belt, at least start with the chaeper options 1st before changing the pump
  9. Whoo hoo glad it fixed it, sad news about chopping it in but if it's not up to the needs of the job then it's time to change
  10. Sorry to the no show last night, misses ill so by time I'd fed watered & put the baby to bed sorted & done the same to her it was half 8 and getting dark :-(
  11. May be a daft idea that would turn out a bit like country & western night on phoenix nights, and I know we keep on inviting people to join us, has anyone tried to get some affiliation going with the hundreds of regional clubs ? If some are not attracting the numbers and less people are going to meets I can't see the problem wih joining a national club (us) the more people there are to support each other and generally be better for all of us, Like gambit says we're the only national subaru club and that goes a long way due to all the models covered ect. Problem I see is that other forums, look down their noses at the rest of the subaru model line up so everything has been segregated which cant be good for sharing the knowledge
  12. If it comes to it I'll be driving gambit to peoples houses and we'll press gang them into signing up or else !
  13. :-( Kt green in leeds have always been spot on I guess it's luck of the draw with dealers. Hopefully the phone call tomorrow will bring some good news for you
  14. Ah fair enough, I was chatting to him before he sold it just wondered what happened to it, Is it still loud as hell ? Haha
  15. I feel your pain ! Are you taking it to where you bought it from ?
  16. Welcome? Looks a lot cleaner than I ever saw it when tom had her ! Did he sell you the spare closed deck block as well ?
  17. I'd agree woth jay there, what's that three hours labour ? Removing the airbox on the offside and the washer bottle on the nearside gives you a lot better access. Small drive extension on your socket should give you enough length to reach :-D
  18. I wouldn't open it mate any excuse for a dealer to wriggle out of a problem and they will. Call them up tell them it's leaking and you want the car recovered at at their expense. After all you've just shelled out the thick end of 25k. these things happen on new models, but why take the risk of invalidating a warranty
  19. Not sure, depends if the loom is ready to accept the new wheel. Then it depends on the controls on the wheel as to weather they'd work with the equipment you have,
  20. Hello, bit of a late reply, I found that a set of 4.5 went in the rear and a pair of 6" went in place of the stock 6.5 in the front. Mine were co axial so lost some of the mid/bass but solved that with an underseat sub.
  21. I suppose you could always ask your insurer about the 252 model see what specs they have and what matches with the car
  22. Do the whole lot, start with he n/s rear then o/s rear. I do 't think theres anything specific to the abs system, I've not seen aything to say it's no different to any other bleeding proceedure
  23. file sharing sites apear to have them, although I would never encourage illegal downloads 'coughs'
