  2. Sorry mate I didn't have any notification that you'd replied. Ssm subaru select monitor it's what all the dealers use you can do loads of stuff with it. I had a brief read through it and downloaded the software but cant use it. I think you can do pretty much everything with it. If you know what your doing I'll post link up. If you want I'll post you the cable ?
  3. Ever looked into hybrids ? Have a look here http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/16307.html
  4. Theres also a smaller one fitted to some 1st gen uk foresters. Think it's a td series but a bit unsure
  5. Try photobucket or other file sharing sites, then theres an option to load the img link into here. Thats the right hole, header tank for the radiator, reason it sits so high is it also sends water to the turbo to cool it. Have you tried expelling any air in the system ?
  6. Hmm, could it be soething to do with the cig lighter not working either maybe a short somewhere ? Really don't know where to suggest looking next.do you have an alarm fitted ? Maybe when that was installed they cut or damaged some of the loom behind the centre console ?
  7. When you up in leeds mate ? I have one thats useless for my car as it's not compatible with my97 [emoji35] If not I'll dig up the link and thread for all info Try this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005ANYHQA?pc_redir=1412586974&robot_redir=1 Have you downloaded the free ssm software ?
  8. Hi mate welcome, not sure on that could be one of fifty things [emoji52] can you chase it bavkwards to see if it goes into the loom or have been spliced into something indicating an aftermarket add on
  9. Have a look for a 15 amp fuse labelled 'clock-room' and a 20amp'lighting sw' above it in the main box under the bonnet by the washer bottle for starters [emoji1] Otherwise it will be one of the fuses in the little compartment beside your right knee
  10. School boy error there mate, glad it's not damaged anything serious, we've all done it though caveman instinct taking over, me man invincible, rushes into job without preparation
  11. A right, I know what you mean, the new age seem a bit wider and don't grip you as much, same with the base it's a little flatter, I find with the classic seats they support my lower back really well. I usually get a numb left thigh after driving any length of time but in the subaru no problems at all
  12. these were on the bay for 50quid I nearly bought them and sold mine on but after sitting in nicks sti I found the classic ones more comfy.
  13. Oof thats a lot of cash for a pair of seats. Id be inclined to get a cheaper pair and get them re covered
  14. I swapped the standard forester armchairs for some classic buckets, which are lovely and comfy and hold you in place a lot better. They just bolted straight in, they are about an inch lower than the foz ones, I take it you were looking at newage sti seats ? Ive been told that all seats fit across the model/years savage's brother had some hatch seats in his classic I beleive. Do yours have airbags in them? From what I've read you need to do a resistor mod if your changing to older style seats to stop it throwing a cel
  15. It's a common issue with subarus due to the pillar less glass, is the little rubber triangle near the mirror still intact or does it have a small split in the top ? Theres a diy fix it guide in the guide section or you can buy some new bits from subaru and tale the whole door apart to fix. However it never really goes away I've got wind deflectors fitted and still get a gale blowing on the n/s [emoji35]
  16. Hi mate, could be an issue with the parking light switch on top of the the steering column, the contact or switch goes and you loose most of your lights, are you dipped & mains working ?
  17. Haha sorry my name's Adam the mount is currently sat in my mums basement along with all the other stuff car related it's this one I've got from ipc http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts_info.asp?id=4854&cat=96⊂=3479&sec=0&var=0&dc=&gen=&searchKey= Been sat in the packet for abiut 2months just not had time to do anything lol
  18. Not sure about your I/c do you have the water sprayer kit for it ? Maybe thats what the reservoir is attached to it as they are all air to air coolers. The the only one you should top up is the main rad cap as the expansion bottle to the right will just fill up when warm & drain back down again when cool. Maybe worth 'burping'the system see if you have an airlock ? If you post up a pic of your engine bay may shed some light
  19. Aww I thought you were gonna say pirate
  20. I've a group n one to go on just waiting for some sfs intercooler hoses to arrive, Been tole that th cfd and other ones are just too hard for daily use, plus the sti o lne is 50 quid cheaper, dunno though I suppose it depends on your preference when driving. I spend most of my time in a van getting shaken to **** so anythings comfier [emoji1]
  21. Just put 10/40 fully synth millers in for the winter due to it being ester based it should make hings a Little quieter when it gets colder, once up to temp I sounds better now so fingers crossed it will do the job, was told theres not much pojnt droppjng to a 5w oil so we'll see
  22. Nope got a shopping list on the go at the mo. [emoji1] m.o.t due so booked in next week.
  23. Certainly seen better days that [emoji3]
  24. Well subaru for you do all kninds of services from srrvicing to remaps & engine builds, i'm gonna guess it's a uk car as it would be pushing out 280 stock if it was a jdm and the rear bumped looks like uk spec, at the end of the daysomeones spent a fair bit on her and you look like you've bagged a bargain. Do you know what turbo you have on there?
