I'm not a massive fan, I have a set of clubs but after I smashed my collar bone to bits never really played since,
But it's more for the spectical and the atmosphere for me, saying that I'll watch pretty much any sport bar athletics and horse racing
Or alignment or slightly buckled wheel,
I rotated mine last month and had horrendous handling, but my rear alignment was so far out due to the fronts being wrong I had a an unworn shoulder of rubber that was the cause due to ub even ware
The hardest thing I've seen is splitting the block and getting the wrist pins out.
Yes mate, even rebuilt engines slap depending on components used, forged pistons will slap as they are built for abuse and road use doesn't get them as hot as fast.
If I were you I'd just either save a bit of cash for each month or build up parts and run the engine until it goes pop (which could be a while) then re build,
Whoop good news on the mot, what kind of exhaust do you have on ? it does seem about right for a proper build but, you may not even need a new crank. And like you say if funds aren't available not feasible. How good are you with a set of spanners ?
Did they say what pistons they would use ?
Phone off for one night, 45 updates from soc : O.
Good luck with the surgery mate.
Dog, at least that lass has 150 quids worth of scrap to go to wards next years premium, glad the damage to yours isn't substantial, what pug did you end up with ?
Haha do it ! Will only be six weeks on the boat :-D
I'd remove the tacho or stick it somewhere else and maybe the leds in the doors. Looks like a right weapon though, although seeing that sideways would be cause for concern it's longer than my van !
No chance of the strip for me unless someone brings a spare clutch and tools haha.
Gonna have to get my tent sorted. Last time I used it I forgot the poles. :O
I'm sure youll be fine, as long as the pin outs are the same which I assume they will be should be ok,
I guess your not planning to add any electric windows to it :-D
As far as im aware you in the same position as me, the ecu's from 97-98 can't be flashed easily you'd need to add on an esl board which fools the ecu and allows mapping, trouble is they aren't cheap around 300quid plus another sum on top for the map.
Your best off trying to find another 8k ( I take it this is the sticker on the front ?) legacy ecu from ebay or subaru for sale sections.
That way you should just be able to disconnect the battery swop out and be on your way again
Not sure, about removing the immobiliser would work as the key is chipped to work with it,
Contact your subaru dealer they may be able to rr set it. Do you have the alarmanual ?
