  1. To on top of the no3 cylinder ?. It's a ball ache !
  2. normal driving it will fluctuate between positive and negative boost a lot as your always stoping and starting it also depends on what gear your in and how many revs your puling at the time. Se if you can find a quiet long and straightish bit of road pref with nat speed limit. Just drive as you would normally, and keep an eye on revs and boost. You'll see where and when the turbo starts spooling in relation to road speed/gear. not sure on the impreza think it's around 2500-2700 rpm. As soon as you come off the gas the engine will dump all excess pressure and you'll return to a negative presure reading. Sorry if this is telling you to suck eggs but it's the easiest way of explaining
  3. Under load or idle ? Standard car as matty said, should read +0.8bar under full load, at idle mine reads -0.8 Depends on where you've got it plumbed into and if its electrical or mechanical type too
  4. Ah i asked hilli182 i knew there was a number in the name couldn't remember who it was cheers
  5. Did anyone catch the name of the chap with the red one in pic 1 ? Said he's signed up on here but no idea. He has some wheel um interested in :-D
  6. Atuo gaurd app for phone does do sound just had it tuned off at the time for test. Does loads of stuff and worth it for £1.69 quality is better than the youtube clip it compressed it on uploading
  7. Nick, sorry didnt even see you post, no we had the 1st west yorks one on thursday and a poorly baby and work have conspired against me on tonights meet. I'll give the car a proper run at weekemd and see how she goes
  8. Ooh saucy ! Been warm enough here over weekend for 1st public showing of the year :-D
  9. I've noticed on the way home that the oil pressure taking longer to get to it's normal operating range, my gauge shows between 1.4-1.8 at idle when warm so i take it the new oil is taking longer to get up to temp. Hence the slap bing more noticable. I guess this being my 1st winter with the car i'm just finding out how she copes with the different temp ranges. And having the new exhaust on has made me here and listen to things i haven't heard before so with all of that combined i'm prob going mad ! Heres another clipof above and below for you gambit :-D
  10. Sav, it allways has done, dunno if its due ro the life it's led or because it's not been mapped for uk running and previous owner prob jut used 95ron in her ? I know all it did before i bought her was trundle round london and to hampshire and back. Service time in june so i'll see how she goes
  11. Dunno what that is think it could be a pulley or a belt its hardly audible just the camera picks up all the sound really well i'll record later but i think it's just me being over paranoid again :-D
  12. Either 126thousand or 138thou depending on how the conversion was done. Showing 201400kms but if you divide that by 1.6 comes to the 126 figure or if you take off 63k which is how the seller said it was done you get the 2nd figure. I should really dig out the import docs and work it out
  13. My !Removed! paranoia has returned after a recent oil change she's started to slap louder than before, i assume i used the same grade oil as before 10-40semi synth so i'm stumped do different brands behave in very differnet ways ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZjNC7n2LfQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player The vid makes it sound a lot worse, that was after 10 min idle and a 3 mile drive :-( Prob not far enough for it to get really hot as it's only stop start traffic All i can think is there was a different oil in ?
  14. Good call, either's good whats everyone else thinking ?
  15. Anything haha. Whats the cusco car r3 ? Something like infenion or one of the gp curcits ? Bit of length but fast
  16. Can we do another tarck other than this ? Hate the tg track
  17. Drove to town for a beer found out was a free bar so drove to work. Walked back to pub and got amongst some free bevvies. :-)
  18. Something like this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201312060368124/sort/atcustom/postcode/ls27qz/radius/1501/make/SUBARU/model/impreza/price-from/7500/price-to/9000/page/1/usedcars?desc=1 Bit on the pricy side but it's a jtc garage. I'm sure theres many more around looks like your gonna have a nice time in the classified ads. (Goes to search out more cars he can't afford)
  19. Maybe stick that one on the bay and start again ? If you'd asked that question the other week i could have given you an answer. The nut is a 22 mm on the outside.as for the length i'd never assume !
  20. Yep deffo need that hole there, maybe he's sold you one for a newage wrx ? Not sure where the sensors are on those. After looking at the wrx diagram on page 1 i'd say youve got the wrong one. They have one before the up pipe and one inbetween the two cats in the centre pipe
  21. Am i confusing myself or are we talking about the same bit, downpipe from the turbo ? Or second section ?
  22. The n/a cars have it in a different place underneath the engine where the two meet into 1. All turbos do though :-(
  23. Thats bad news, main o2 sensor essential take it you mean the one directly behind the turbo ? Could get one fabricatd
  24. http://www.subaru4you.co.uk/service/servicesched1.shtml Just an exmple of cost/schedual And they only drink the good stuf too
