Black Top mount with black hoses, for time being. should be more than enough for the level of tune I'm at, Martyn j said he's tuned and sti hatch to a safe 470ish hp using a grim speed tmic, and according to their website the mishimoto should be a better core ;) a lot of guys in the states don't use a front mount till 500+hp or 30+ psi so if I ever go that high I can always sell this on .. I will have an oe 2008 sti intercooler for sale soon if anyone's interested dyno proven to 390hp ;)

I think it looks ok and should help prevent heat soak a bit . now I've got about half a roll left I don't know what else to wrap lol

Mine lasted 46k before mashing up the piston ringland and the block .....lol. New block board to 2.6  added a big chunk to the price but hey all good now apart from a small oil leak loving your work there ...looking good

How about the Downpipe? I had mine wrapped and I also had a trubo Blanket (have to remove tin heat shields though), both help reduce heat soak.

Finally read the whole thread. Great progress. If I had the time and money......

Also I can't recommend Alan Jeffries enough. I took my blobeye WRX to them to remap. Don't a great job, very happy with results and then they gave me a tour of the workshop. Very impressive. Highly recommend them [emoji106][emoji106]
