Whats best turbo

As above, need to define what you want or budget.

 

Sc42, fuel pump, injectors, front mount, syvecs will see 400 but prob be £4k if bought new. Second hand parts and map will be cheaper but need to find decent parts. Decat and Remap will see 330 but only be about £1500 give or take

aint that the truth. i know someone who got sold a second hand sc38 that was supposedly low miles and less than 6 months old. Considering that spec had been phased out 3 years prior suspect someone was telling some porky pies

i got a vf28 off eBay as a spare , won for sub 100 quid but looked pretty mint in the pics, said he got a sti v6 fresh import with 25k on the clock..... turbo arrived looked good but stunk of carb cleaner ! in the end i gave it to a mate who races them

Matts guidance is almost correct :laugh: follow most of what he said but look at the turbo itself - it is stamped / cast on the housing
