Piggysniffer Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I couldn't find a 4 in 1 on there @stants
Scoobyghost Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 http://www.deporacing.eu/ Next day delivery etc Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk When I tried them they fobbed me off a lot. I ordered mine from a German seller on eBay. I'll see if he still has them A bit pricier than some others but here it is. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.de/itm/112122929717 He also has water temp versions but you lose oil pressure. Not a worthy trade.
stants Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Fair enough, just get 3 of the dual readout gauges then you have six things to be able to monitor 😂 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
cornish6544 Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 Ive been advised i will probably need a sandwich plate for the oil pressure and temperature sensors. Had a quick look on eBay but how do i make sure it will be the right fit on the thread on my oil filter? cheers
kershaw-330s Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 It should say what engine it's for in the add. You want one for an ej20 Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
Scoobyghost Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Would advise against using sandwich plates. Cheap versions leak and hard to monitor. You can buy a T piece that will fit into the oem oil pressure hole and it allows you to keep the oem pressure switch. For temp it's best to go for the bung that's located over #3 piston. That's the usual hot-spot due to being so close to the turbo and uppipe. You'll also need an adapter for the temp sensor as the sensor uses a different thread pattern to the engine. I'll find the link for the parts. 1
Scoobyghost Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 http://www.scoobyparts.com/oil-pressure-oil-temp-gauge-fitting-kit-pink Link for parts you need if using the depo 4-1. Also grab yourself some wire, soldering iron and connector blocks if necessary. The wires from the gauge are rather short but you will need to wire into a supply anyway.
cornish6544 Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 this is what the gauges are reading on idle after being driven. Sorry about the picture could t get it the right way. 1
