Unless you've upgraded, the factory turbo is water cooled. It's the reason why most modern turbo cars don't need turbo timers from factory.

I removed the whole tank and painted it black using red lead undercoat. A word of warning if you do remove it the hose attached to the filler cap on mine was very stiff to get off been on since day of manufacture and ended up snapping the filler neck off. Flea bay replacement cost £25 for the whole tank.
