Can’t contain myself until tomorrow to post this, now I’ve finished for the day.

Going to Evotune to book my car in for a remap just before Japfest tomorrow [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]

Haha was just booking it in today; 3rd May be the day [emoji41]

Got myself a prob now tho. Was washing car n alarm went off. Thought nothing of it, turned off n carried on. Now car won’t start. All is normal til the last turn of the key then nothing. Battery n fuses all fine. On the last turn of key, the dash clock and fan go off but rest of dash lights stay on.

Any ideas?

Oh not good. I'd try jump start it just in case it is the Battery I know mine when it went would look like it was fine.

And I'm sure you've done it but I'll ask anyway [emoji16] you've turned the immobiliser off ?

Classics have a "fusable link " in the underbonnet fuse box . Its basically a piece of wire with a spade connection on either end that acts as a fuse for the starter motor .

Dunno if blobs have em but i thought it would be worth mentioning.

Its not anything to do with the auto box ( ie wont start in park or drive )

it only starts when in park (and it is)

will check fuse box under the bonnet in the morning, but don't recall seeing such when I was in there checking them all earlier

No joy with the wife’s keys I’m afraid.

Fearing expense tomorrow

Do you have the alarm manual David?
There should be a small valet push button you can use to put in a code (if manual has it in there) and you'll be able to dussarm the system etc
