hilli182
I think have same model races but not standard ones. Need to be faster than that I reckon. Put race breaks on then have same model races so it's as level as can be ??
Dogconker
Maybe race tyres, race brakes and street gearbox? Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit
I don't want to have us all in the same car for every race I like the idea that there is handling difference on each car but all close enough to be competitive.
Dogconker
The only problem is of you pick the wrong car your done. Because some are more competitive than others Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit
Yeah well it shouldn't be to far out if it is it needs to br upgraded still to bring them on par. I'm think more for the replay value as well I think all the cusco races dont look as good as the other races.
Dogconker
The 80s legacy was really struggling on the Suzuka course when I had I just could keep up with you Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit
Isnt that how it should be if it was faster or better on corners its not a race. I can see where you're coming from but if it's like that wouldnt just using the cusco car be a better option.
Dogconker
Ah, I can see what's happened there, I'm using an iphone and it tries to type stuff for me. My last message should have read I just couldn't keep up with you. I'm ok with different cars I was just pointing out that the 80s legacy needs s little extra umph Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
hilli182
Not really a fan of standard cars but guess that levels it out. I would use same cars and tunes with race brakes and have sane model races. There's nothing to tune really apart from breaks so would be level racing
hilli182
I think bin the 80s legacy. Isn't that dlc and not everyone has it so don't think it should be in but just my opinion though
stants
To be fair I knew I just had to stay behind you on every race to be crown double S.O.C world champion [emoji123] [emoji23] so was hapoy to just stay out of any crashes. I think stanton has to go down as the worst driver of the season id like to see how many races he dnf [emoji1] I'd say about 90% of them at least I couldn't get on with the cars and not being able to set them up to handle well with the wheel, I'd either brake too early and someone would go into the back of me, miss my braking point for fear of getting hit, and crash. or start to brake apply too much pressure get of the brakes but I'd be gearing down and kill the engine. I found them to be too snappy to my imputs on the wheel I like to run a bit more caster and less camber that way when you feed the wheel out the car feels more natural instead of it trying to step out same with some toe on the rear have to do less with the wheel for the same effect. Gambit
Oh right yeah that can be sorted like I said before could do with getting on once I get them upgraded and have a test run with the pits involved I will add the bits only reason I didn't add the brakes before was the reason of doing the tunes that everyone said they didn't want, like we have done was to limit the tune side of things but will get it sorted and add them to the club so club members can test them 1st saves me sending them to everyone over and over again. hilli182
I'm sure you can set it up in lobby so it stops tune being used ? Might be wrong tho
Dogconker
We don't want to back where the best tuner wins all the races. I can't tune for toffee. And remember if the time is set up for a wheel it might be crap on a joypad Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
mfnick
What's up with the cars as they are? Sure some will perform better on some tracks than others but that's racing - look at any motorsport like BTCC. Saying that I think we should all have 1 car that we use throughout the season too. As long as they're fairly even (which they seemed to be last season) it'll even out. When's the next season starting BTW? I should hopefully be able to make it on for a lot more next time, I need to save money for my exhaust, remap etc. plus I'm going on Holiday in July so not going to be going out as much for a while. Meaning I'll be in most Sunday nights.
Scooby Pete
Brake bias isn't really performance/ handling enhancing,it's a personal preference. I'm happy to allow adjustment of brake bias but camber and toe can dramatically adjust the handling and way the car performs. It's unfair on the people who can't tune to allow too much tuning. Gambit
Does anyone know this mfnick guy ? [emoji12] that is my thoughts to be fair it should balance out I like the idea of a single car too but do like a choice too.
stants
I'm sure you can set it up in lobby so it stops tune being used ? Might be wrong tho You can theres loads of stuff you can do in the set up, only allow street psrts and handicap power limits weight limits etc Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk

hilli182
I would happily carry on with these cars as they are. I like the idea of 2 shorter races and one longer one with pit stop.

I think this will be brought it I like the idea too. Not sure if the longer one should be done in the cuscos though what's views on that ? stants
Maybe all use the in car view? Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
Gambit
I'm not sure. I can't really see what good it would do I always use bonnet view as a preference I like. Anyone else ?
Scooby Pete
View shouldn't be restricted nor should gears & clutch use imho. As an alternative to brake bias you can adjust all the triggers, pedals and wheel movements in the controller config. It takes a while to get just how you like it, but it can be done. Dogconker
I'm pretty ok with them as they are, if things need changing then I think you're stuck with same car races. But like Gambit I like the variety. I just think there's a couple of tweaks for the lesser cars Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
