  1. All them from 2001 on have them for sure. Not certain on the classics but they probably do aswell.
  2. If you are getting a fmic and a induction kit im pretty sure you would need a remap so the limiter should be able to be removed during mapping will save buying an ecu at least.
  3. I assume the only way to find that out is to strip down the suspension. Thanks for the input guys gives me plenty to think about.
  4. Awsome are whiteline the way to go?
  5. Thanks sam i think thats a good shout with the arbs and uorated bushes. Ill look in to a decent set of springs aswell. Ohh the list is growing longer 😂
  6. So Im on the hunt for any tips/ advice you guys have from changes you may have made to your scoobies handling. Are the Sti struts Red? The ones on the car a red and my last wrx had black struts pic below. First thing on the cards after mot time is a set of decent tyres cause I have what looks like budget numbers on the car from last owner so im sure that is best place to start. I dont really mind the cars nature of understeer bias but id like it a little sharper without being too stiff.anyone know how great the difference is after front strut brace is fitted? Id like a little less body roll but again not too stiff its not gonna be a track car. I dont want coilovers cant go too stiff cause the roads are shocking and I like having teeth 😂
  7. I think they are decent brakes mate but have a look at Godspeed brakes they have a good name thats what im going for when I get round to brakes.
  8. Good luck matti, look forward to seeing your results. Need to look under mine when its not snowing or raining think ive got a rattling heat sheild.
  9. Keep your side lights on all the time (they turn off with key out) see if that helps. Alternator voltage sits a bit low with them off for some reason.
  10. Did you get this sorted? Similar thing happened to me. Some bird crashed into my last scoob in a car park and tried to flea. She didn't realise that her fog lamp cover fell off and thought she could hide her car ten bays away 😂. Took a year and a half and 3 court appearances later before she was found guilty. I didn't even put in a claim but was dumb enough to tell my insurance company. So my insurance went up and it says to this day on my insurance docs driver hit immobile object.. Wtf🤔 wasnt even in the car I was in the pictures lol
  11. It turned out great mate the car is much more fun to drive now
  12. Yeah stuart it was chris good to know your a year down the line with no hassels. Its definitely worth it for the price I know that the licenced maps can do a bit more but the opensource map is perfect for my needs.
  13. I can revive this and say that Dynatune are worth a shout for anyone in the Glasgow/Lanarkshire area. Was an open source live road map and I can say the car feels much better now. No issues with the car whatsoever after map. I will post when the map has been on the car for a while to update long term results.
  14. From the album: Rosscosms Wrx

Had remap done today. Opensource on the road map has made an impressive difference to the car.
  15. Is the shaking excessive? Could be misfiring or a timing issue possibly. My old bugeye was shaking after I had the timing belt done. Wasnt set up right.
  16. Had my mechanic fit 3 port boost solinoid and standard recirc valve ready for map on Saturday. Was actually booked in for tomorrow but he had a cancellation and squeezed me in today bonus.
  17. I dont think its incredibly hard mate if you had a spare pair of hands and a tutorial you could probably do it yourself. Saying that i wouldn't be able to do it myself lol Good luck getting it sorted anyway 👍
  18. Mate theres a subaru dealership in carlise they probably won't be the cheapest but at least they will know what they are doing.. Surely
  19. Even the best mechanics in the world make mistakes but judging from the word around here scoobyclinic seam to be pros. Hope its notto pricey to sort mate good luck
