Wife wants a Subaru, But which one to get
Hopefully the members with the cars will be along shortly to give advice on the above cars. For me my 1st choice would be a legacy from the above mainly because it is more like a car than an SUV but that is from my preference. The others Foresters I don't think we really have "Abused" versions over here maybe a few if it was a farmer that has had it like Bitman will tell you he's made his own man made mountains from the dirt off his :) wind noise seems to be the biggest problem. Outbacks a nice enough car have a few members with them too I think all cars can have headgasket issues on the list as a con Subarus can suffer with it if it's not been well serviced on a regular basis or the more common fault I find is people sticking the foot flat to the floor before it's warmed up seems to be the biggest problem for HG failure from my years of a Subaru owner. Also a lot of people then sell them on by using HG sealer as a temp fix or having it fixed and not done right for it to fail shortly after :( Not always the case but seems to be 90% of the time. But hopefully some of the other members will be able to advice you on the cars you're looking at better than me. So welcome to S.O.C :)

New Underpants needed, stolen from Gambits FB feed.
Hi Phillip thanks for taking the time to sign up and reply appreciated. Ive watched all of the videos a few time now and can't see how else you could have avoided going to the right personally. As you said going thr other side I'd agree I think it would have been worse and I wouldnt call it passing on the right evasive manoeuvre. Mind you I find you tube comments full of troll most of the time so shouldn't worry to much much about what people say on there. We have a few on here that go to the ring and a few going for the 1st time. Fingers crossed they get a better time of it [emoji6] glad to hear you managed to get another lap too.

Hawkeye Vs Blobeye Performance Question
Don't get me wrong I love my Bugeye with the morretes lol :D If I could afford to keep it I would. I've always said if I won the lottery ?I'd send it away have a full rebuild and paint job done on it getting it looking back to it's best even if I would never drive it. It was my 1st Subaru so will always have a place in my petrol beating heart

Hawkeye Vs Blobeye Performance Question
You can get the early 06 hawks thst just fell under the tax increase. I've been looking myself. But you can convert bugeye or a blob eye to look like a hawkeye too.

I've just emailed steve with all the details I think they will need to be a few options with it myself on what people are going for. I guess when people pay if they let me know what they have gone for I will update the sign up section if people have gone for the full weekend or part of it.

Another possible noob with a few questions!
It's fine mate this is what part what the forum and clubs are for :D My aircon pump went I just cut the belt to it so mine doesn't now work either :D but it could be a few things you could only take his word for it. With the arches especially the classic shape, they do suffer really bad for the rust on the arches. Unfortunately there isn't any cheap fix for the problem you're better to pay more for the job to be done properly if your going to do it than try save a couple of hundred quid for it to come back. I'd have a guess be about 400 pound to have them cut out and redone to a high standard at a guess. But will mean the cars off the road :(
