I'd just take his word for it but if you was planning on modding it and remap later you will know for sure then :D

As Stants said really. Chances are it might not have been remapped or someone has played around with the actuator then claiming it to be mapped. I know a guy near me who does that it's ok I don't speak with him or have anything to do with people like that :)

It's taken me awhile lot's of driving around and ringing people up and knockbacks :) But it's happening now so would be great if we can get as many people going as possible and as many types of Subaru. More so when I was speaking to the owner and he told me a Porsche Club is starting a meet up there in July too So it's now a personal duell to out beat them As always rules will apply. And hope to see some members there :D Meeting Rules 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Meeting. 2. No leaving litter. 3. Do not partake in any other idiotic behaviour. 4. Some places will check them for free and bill you for the work. But I agree just to read the codes I would do it myself 1st :)

Yes mate its pretty easy to get the speedo cluster out. On'y problem you might have is the length ...... of the wire :) Just unclips from the top might be 3 if memory serves me right, and then removes easy enough all being well.

Nice another little project for you but after the sports I'm sure this will be a breeze for you :) We have the project thread section now mate so as you know feel free to get one started. And they do accelerate nice don't they :D
