  1. Thats pretty cool I'm actually tempted to get one :D and not a bad price either
  2. Off with his head!!! ;) To be fair I like them in most colours I love the blue as it seems to change colour when the suns on it goes light blue and you can see the metallic stand out when cold and dull it's a lot darker. Same with the black it goes a purpley colour when the suns on it :)
  3. Martins made 6th person to join the big brother house :)

free eggs I love my free eggs :D Just make sure they don't jump on your car to keep warm my next door's car is scratched to hell because they go on the bonnet when it's warm
  5. I've seen a few people with 200k + on one engine depends on how well it's been looked after really regular oil changes is one of the most important things but might not be on the service like most people on here I'd say I do my own. But yet I still had to get an engine rebuild done after just 60k miles. But as long as it's not had loads of previous owners and history with it. You can normally tell from the owner you're buying from how they are with regards of thrashing it everywhere. But getting car with over 100k wouldn't bother me too much with the above looked at :)
  6. I'm not 100% sure myself Dog conker might know with owning one :)

:o hopefully might be a bit of condition bringing most them on with it being stood then started. Opps mean condensation
  8. There is also Hull motor show on Sunday, doubt I will make either but thought I'd let people know :) https://www.facebook.com/hullmotorshow?fref=nf
  9. Well take a look in here it's worth the look http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/forum/17-subarus-for-sale/ I will keep an eye out I do keep looking at scoobs I'm toying with getting an 06 hawkeye at the minute. So might see one, should be able to get a blobeye for that money I would have thought or a really nice Bugeye with lot's done to it :)
  10. If you have built Pc's before it's not to hard more challenge doing the fascia around the screen :) I've just resanded mine down to do it again after a fly went in the clear coat when I was spraying it lol. But wasn't happy with it anyway so would have been done again anyway :)

Nice one bargain price have you read the codes to see what they are ?
  13. I built that one myself I'd say the biggest cost was the screen the pc parts I got 2nd hand, so full cost maybe a little over £200 with wires and everything I needed. As for Windows unfortunately unless you get a hybrid version or Linux that works it does really. I had to hack the windows to change it to the knightrider too with windows 7 it doesn't just let you change it like XP did :( I've now changed it all again :) it has the guy from Saw with the laugh it does I will have to record it I guess to show you what I mean :) I'd say the only thing with them is they seem to be an on going project. I'm looking at the satnav side of things with it at the minute plus I want to sort it out, as the PC is in the boot it's just the screen thats fastened in the dash I can remove the PC out the boot easy enough when I want. But I'm going to fasten it all to the back seats in the boot to free up some space :) But I'm also really toying with the idea of selling the car to get a hawkeye. Be a sad day watching her go though but I just couldn't afford to keep it and it's no good sorned :( but thats just early thoughts yet :D
  14. No problem, not all the legacies are big they do a saloon version :) But Imprezas equally good car so much so have two in the garage :D was you looking at wagons or saloons ? We get some nice ones posted in the sale section from time to time, so worth checking that out :)
  15. Haha I nearly said have you checked the filter is on tight to make a seal didn't think about it having a hole in. Anyway as Pete said easy fix that just a shame you have a bit of a clean up operation on your hands now :D
  16. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I'd say the WRX is a good choice but would also look at the Legacies and forester also. Forester might be a bit bigger than you need but all come with power and AWD. Just some food for thought :D
  17. As Adam says I know Martin in Sheffield will send them away to be skimmed if the flywheel was any good. Unfortunately with mine was lightened and cracked so had to have another one put in :( But these have been highly recommended in the past. So might be worth ringing around and choose which one suits you more for distance vs price. I drove 2 and a bit hour's to Sheffield like you nothing close by in that way , well not anymore the one garage we had he moved to an F1 team :( http://www.eastsussexmobileservices.co.uk/ http://www.slowboy-racing.co.uk/ http://www.subaru4you.co.uk/ http://www.larkins-autoservices.com/ http://www.gdasportcars.co.uk/ http://www.swautos.co.uk/ http://www.extremescoobies.co.uk/contact_us.html

I swear if you have anger problems don't watch it with the sound on. I could have happily slammed the door on his head a few times But must admit it's nice car
  20. Don't blame you mate, and that be great f you keep us informed I'm interested to know what it is.
  21. I'm with everyone else mate if you like it do it :) I've been wanting to debadge mine for ages now just nervous of it being that weather worn now it will always show through. Like a fat birds knickers wearing tight leggings that are 2 sizes too small :(

  24. Oh should have said hi mate I did stand in front of your car whilst you was sat in it trying to work out if it was your car or not lol :)
  25. Oh thats not good at all mate, I'm with the others if you have just bought it get it back straight away if everything's covered in oil somethings gone major wrong some where you could clean it off to find the problem but I'd just get it back for a repair or money back :(
