  1. Keep us updated I will see I can redirect either of the two here see if they know. There is Martin who owns Sheffield Subaru Services on here too who's excellent with Subaru engines might be worth giving him a ring if he's not too busy I'm sure he will be happy to advise if he can.
  2. As Ian has said for me more importantly is to meet new people with the same interets. even if it's hard core modding to the low side of just upgrading a stereo and keeping the rest standard. I like to see both and meet the people behind both. But most of all enjoy the day with good company, I've not met Ian yet but already feel like I know him and look forwrd to meeting him and Pete and everyone else I don't want to leave anyone out :D
  3. Oh hell I can see me and you matt will get along just fine :) my way of thinking
  4. Hi mate welcome to the forum/ S.O.C Looking at the list you have put and mods you've listed I would say you know the good points to add to a Scoobie. I will gracefully like a ballerina with no rhythm. Not answer as I'm not sure and leave this to one of the members like Tlag or Savage that do builds to hopefully answer ;) HEEEEELP!!! :D
  5. I'm sure we won't mind it's all about the taking part if you can make it :D
  6. I guess to hear it would be best I could keep guessing :) maybe a bad relay or AC vent tapping I don't think be to much wrong but I think the video will be bet to hear :)
  7. Hmmm not piston slap then you would hear it more when cold I would have the engine running and listen at the back of the rad at the front. My next guess would be the belts or an idler tapping. I take it you haven't lost any water ?
  8. Thats a must mate ;) I like to have a challenge :D well you're welcome to pop round again mate if passing let me know smash some more Forza 5 in. Oh and the gimp masks I lent you no rush for them back I have plenty
  9. What I like to hear :D
  10. If you can get a recording of it and upload it on youtube would help greatly. I'm still going with piston slap is it when it's cold ? and goes away once it's warmed up ? You have checked the oil level ? :)

No worries mate let us know how you get on :)
  12. I shouldn't worry about too much about full standard I have some big repairs todo this month but will be going it does mean I won't be able to get some of the car looking more ideal than I would have liked it :D
  13. Nope sorry. I know my father in law paid £180 to have his done at a body shop once and it did come back pretty damn nice if I'm being truthful

No mate be on the engine components. Could be a lot of things but if the cars driving fine I would maybe have a guess with the 02 sensor but only way to know for sure is to have them read. might even be a sensor throwing a wobbly so resetting them would be best 1st see if it comes back. can do all that with the app I said about.
  15. Looks good mate will drop my car round at some point so you can do mine I hate cleaning the engine :(
  16. Info is HERE mate. But in a nutshell massive club meet if enough people go and I would love to see more Foresters and some Legacies make the trip :)
  17. Look's good Jonny mate. Be spot on for Japfest 2 ;)

If you can't get anyone mate get an app called Torque pro and a Bluetooth OBDII scanner will cost you a little over a £10 :)
  19. Damn it did come down heavy I thought it was bad here :o
  20. Just tell the missus the queue was crazy but you managed to beat off the old lady for the last pint of milk ;) But Boot's is coming from Wales it's never too far to meet Subaru owners Club members ;) And I do mean beat up not sexually for you dirty minded lot As much as I like the idea I'm sure not many people will get it unless you explain it but I guess thats the same with most I guess. :(
  21. Well safe in the knowledge this is a go. I think if the santa pod one fails this year Need to get the event's posted sooner next year and added to the Calendar.
  22. Looks better :) Ideal for Japfest 2 to show it off ;)
  23. I'm sure the surround is fake screws I think you need to take it all out and under it it's held with two screws
  24. I take it it's in the engine might be a bit of piston slap or one of the pulleys around the belts.
