Tokyo, January 9, 2015 – Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) - the maker of Subaru automobiles and Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI)* unveiled the new racing car developed from the WRX STI for 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race in 2015 and announced an outline of Subaru Motorsport activities for 2015 at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2015 with NAPAC (Japan Car Parts and Aftermarket Promotion Association). *: Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI; President Yoshio Hirakawa; located in Mitaka, Tokyo) Nürburgring 24-Hour Race STI will participate in the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race (from 14 to 17 May in Germany) for eight consecutive years, with a vehicle whose performance has been enhanced from its base car – the Subaru WRX STI. The race car's performance such as aerodynamics, stability, body rigidity and engine output have been enhanced compared to the previous model. In addition, visibility for racing flags has also been improved by introducing a left-hand drive car. Like last year, Hideharu Tatsumi will take the helm of team operations as team manager, in addition to the development of the car. The drivers are Sasaki (Japan), Lasée (Germany), van Dam (Netherlands) and Tim Schrick (Germany), the winner of 2014 VLN endurance racing championship who newly joins the team. SUPER GT Series Subaru, with the "SUBARU BRZ GT300" race car, will participate in the SUPER GT series this year as well, widely regarded as Japan's top motorsports category. The race car employs the same front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout as the production BRZ model. The team manager will be Hideharu Tatsumi, the team will be operated in conjunction with "R&D SPORT" led by Director Shinji Motojima, and Takuto Iguchi and newly joined Hideki Yamauchi will be driving for the team. In addition, Dunlop tires which have been used in the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race will be employed for the "SUBARU BRZ GT300" race car.

Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I'm just wondering if you have any overhead power lines or anything close that might be causing an interference. Ash one of our members had gone to a festival in a field and had a similar experience. Shouldn't push these car at all but they had too to get far enough away for it to start.

Things a beast ridiculously quick. I love to win a go in the passenger seat of it just to feel how crazy the torque must feel. But then again maybe not a good idea the disappointment my car would bring me after :(

Yeah I had to double check the day lol. It's not a club event I was just making people aware mate in case anyone wants to go and meet up.

Not from what they said but I can't give you an honest view myself about them. But I've been tild the customer service after sales is terrible also. I've seen more people walk than buy their car's and felt happy they did. [emoji54]

I still think my gauges look better than the old dials. But not to everyone taste I guess.

They've got a bad rep in the scooby world apparently they come across so I've been told like street gangster's init bruv type's. Have also been told their not a friendly bunch. Thats from multiple people. [emoji19]

Off roading looked good. Done a bit before when had to go looking for some escaped dogs that turned oit had got them selves locked in a shed lol but had a good hour and half driving fun for free.

Yea H it was the vented back one I used. But is stuck on the roof so probably the worst place to have it. I'll have a look see what I can find with the sound. Be nice to get a cleaner audio sound of the car and not loads of vwind [emoji1]

I know not the same place but this guy managed to reduce it. I take it what a lot of people are doing is have maybe two then and use one for the sound say stuck on the boot out of the wind and the other for just video ?

yeah I had it inside at the end of the video was better but still could hear noises I've never heard before like squeaking or there is also some type of beeping going on when I play it back but yet don't hear these things when driving I'm just trying to capture the engine sounds more than anything.
