  1. I'm the same mate once I've had time to carm down but sometimes I will stew on it for hours then find that winds me up more [emoji36]
  2. I have no problems with RWD had an m3 for awhile that loved wet leaves didn't do much for my underwear though caught me out a few times. Now that is one nice capri I'll see if I can get my mate to post some of his cars he's had some beauts including a cossie

  8. Glad to hear it yeah bulbs not easy to work on with these. Wait till you do the fronts lol :)
  9. But warming up before a spirited drive is a must :) but if you're just driving steady be fine to drive it I do like to let mine run a few minutes though. Maybe just an old habit but peace of mind :)
  10. Gutted and after all the work to get the shell swap done :( ******. Hope he back's the flat bed into what ever car he has at home
  11. I thought the s202 had a carbon like UK300 prodrive spoiler
  12. Nice touch wood only crashes I've had has been when my mates been driving ;) But I always wanted an Xr2 I did get to drive a G reg Xr3i when I was just 14 my mates Dad used to let us take it and we even used to drive back from the pub in it with is old man !Removed! up and we would have had a pint or two as well :o How times have changed :) He's what happened to one of our members cars a few weeks ago. I'm sure must have been ice though Not easy to crash the Scoobs http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/11079-graphic-warning-stus-scoob/ Wait for the snow real fun then :D Mind you if you have had an AWD Cossie I'm sure you will know what I mean :D Should be able to push 300bhp maybe 350 easy enough anymore than that though it's start's to get a bit dig deep in the pockets or get an STI ;) but 280 isn't a bad number either :)

  15. never gets old
  16. As said above mate, with new turbo engine cars the days of sitting to let it cool isn't important as it used to be but I have a turbo timer and will use it after some spirited driving or track day. But like Stants said just staying off boost before your going to turn the car off is fine. Bov some cars can have them others will maybe get a running issue I have found it's more of a problem with classics than the new age but isn't uncommon for a car to run badly with one from time to time. Both car in the garage have one one is standard and the other one is tuned both run fine with them on. And I'd agree with stants on the Alternator will give the battery more power when it needs it or something like that. I think it was Johnnyb (not seen him for awhile) said you need lights on or a stereo to keep the battery charged when driving it or the alternator seems to not power it enough. I had a problem with the blobeye had to keep my side lights on to keep the battery charged otherwise it would only be putting out 11.5 when it should be 14 to put charge into the battery. If that makes sense lol
  17. I wanted the Black but missus bought me it and said she wasn't paying the money for the black so I ended up with the white :D
  18. I wanted to capture the engine noises and stuff mainly :) I do have an open backed door thing that might be better will test that 1st :)
  19. If it's been well looked after we have a couple of members with milage over 200k still going strong. But like my car is showing 120k on the clock but I've had a rebuild done so it's only really about 60k now since I had it done. Really it's more important to have lot's of reliable service history if going private I find. I'd be careful though seen two members on here buy cars that's had engine rebuilds done by a part time diy car mechanic for the engines to let go 3 weeks later because they didn't know what they was doing. And always check for the Head Gaskets or anything that looks like it's maybe gone with private sales too.
  20. Looking at the chaps ebay feedback does look like he buys and sells cars. And not very good at it either, I'd not risk it myself.
  21. Signed !Removed! annoys me idiots that do that. My Sister in law lives just near Cadwell I like sitting in the garden and listening to the various bikes and cars going round.
  22. Lol an eventful drive :) Well I've set my gopro up but get loads of other noise from the dash think I'll need to reset it somewhere else :(
