  1. Someone had to kick start it off ;) I was just in the Spar shop the woman serving me just wished me a Happy New year. I said "Only 364 days late you daft c@nt!!" Anyway wishing a Happy New Year to you all. And my past, present, and future friends. may 2014 be filled with easy M.O.T's cheaper fuel and faster speed limits ;) Hope you are having a great night out, or in. Anyway here's to hoping it is a better year for everyone. All the best for the year and any worries this year last no longer than a Kardashian marriage Oh and it's New Years resolution time, this year I'm choosing one that is achievable..........to get fat and !Removed! more! Sod it will cut out the middle man..... Roll on 2015 I hope this posts quickly. Happy Newyear 2011 Sent using Internet Explorer,
  2. I know the splash guards should have very slight movement. But sounds like they are too loose how you have put it so would look at getting the tight end up. As for the holes my guess would be like you have said some sort of extensions.
  3. Aint that always the case one bolt that you either round off or won't move ;) Least you got it sorted out mate :) just the rears left to swear at ;)
  4. Savage ot Tlag Bips might be the best people to ask Savage is pretty good with the classic shapes I would wait for one of them see if they can advise you better mate :D And Welcome to S.O.C
  5. I've never had a diesel so couldn't tell you mate sorry :( I'm guessing it's the hatchback impreza ?
  6. I have the same problems as all of the above main reason I have tinted windows Only plus side is my Missus doesn't drive it ;) but sweetie wrappers muddy feet marks drives me mad. And like you I try to keep on top of it :D
  7. Top job that mate. Not to bad in the impreza as it's just below the vents apart from the drinks holder and ashtray, just at the right height. And sorry me getting excited about seeing the end result. I want to come down and rip it now :D
  8. Sound ideal place to me. What I did with my screen was used a thin bit of metal as a back plate to bolt it on to. But only needed to use the original double din surround hacked that to bits then used body filler to start to make it look like it should again, but still working on that part too. As i had got it all done in summer was outside nice day spraying it and a fly landed on the !Removed! paint when it was wet and like an idiot I tried to sort it out and made a mess so needs all sanding down again :( Could you use the backing part of the air vents just remove the grills and build up from the back forward if that makes sense :D It was how I found it the easiest way as the foundations was there. Not sure how it looks on the inside though :)
  9. Cheers just taking a look at the site now.
  10. Even better downside to my set up is it has to come from the OBDII :( So any ideas on mounting it yet then ;)
  11. Sounds like a plan. You already have the alloys just having to pay to have them swapped but cheaper than another set of alloys to store :D Just done reading up on Nokians and seem like a really good tyre for winter.
  12. Wow for a split second I thought I was on another forum :D
  13. For me thats what owning and modifying your car should be about making your own mark on it selfish or not it's the individuality of seeing other peoples cars I like most. be boring if it was all the same :D I will put my two pences worth in but have always said do what you think is best :)
  14. I'd say they would be great for winter coming from Finland not sure what mine was I know they was midrange my local MOT bloke ordered them in and fitted them think was about £480
  15. I have been playing around with the idea of getting a set of winter wheels again. Not sure it pays for itself straight away I did it more to protect my alloys but got sick of moving them around the garage I sold them :(
  16. Been on that site for many years too so know how they work :D And to be fair I still don't see why my post was that bad. :)
