  2. I can't get the sender on under the alternator not without extending away it's too big :( so thought I might as well have a look see where it is before I buy the parts :)
  3. I'd check it 1st and the filter might have damaged that with it getting wet like bogroll when it's wet goes mushy. But one checked everything have a better idea no point spending if you don't need to :D that could be spent on another mod :)
  4. Not the cheapest of things mate :( could risk the 2nd hand market if need be but through my own experience was a waste of time or I just have really bad luck :)
  5. Hello mate always nice to see members coming on from the Sheffield meet's hope you feel right at home I'm sure you will know a few of us on here then already Dave I'm sure will be along shortly ;) And the car sounds amazing. Any video footage of her in action ?
  6. I did think about taking my TMIC off to have a look about relocating my oil pressure sender. After removing the alternator twice and having a bad time off the last one snapping off in the bolt I'm not doing it again :D So job for the week or weekend maybe.
  7. Does sound like the common symptoms of a faulty MAF have you had the engine running and pulled the plug off the maf to see if it stalls ? Also have to looked at the filter might be clogged up and not letting enough air past I'd check the ECU for codes too :)
  8. I bought some red engine paint off fleebay about £6 But I know Halfrauds sell it but never used it.
  9. Sorry mate I couldn't tell you either, I'm sure one of the foresters do but I couldn't tell you which one it is either :(

  11. Lock and load boys.... Better start running ;) What did you end up. Don't say an Audi ? :)
  12. As said above as you are driving it should move up to + depending on load I.e boosting but when you lift to change gear it should drop down again it wouldn't just stay at one point unless you a cruising with a steady foot.
  13. Think it's Pommy he has a set he's not complained about them yet. I just worry about something I've never heard of before, so yeah keep us posted mate :)

  17. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Car looks good buddy, not on your own with the insurance problem. we have a few that haven't been able to get the turbo for the same reason but like Jay said worth trying our clubs insurance. Saved some members money :)
  18. If all the systems work thats a good thing heard people have had the same thing but the radio won't work or such thing's. It seems as soon as the power is cut from the radio this happens, and look's like it's a main stealers to have it sorted :( about £29.00 for the privilege. not sure if any of the other guy's know of a way around it or not.
  19. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I'm a hawkeye fan but don't own one have a bug and a blobeye in the garage. Think be next one to add :) And if it's the bulb changes you are on about being the worst ever it's just as bad on the others too :(
  20. I replied before you had posted the 2nd clip But what I said after incase you missed it "Does sound louder than mine to be fair could hear it better on the 2nd clip. But would still call is mild slap. fresh oil once it's been bashed a bit might make it less noticeable" yeah was nice here but was working around the car so shorts was a big no :( but meant to be good for 2 weeks now so bonus :)
  21. Sounds good to me mate. I will help publicise it best I can once dates and times have been sorted. Would be shocked if didn't get a bit of a turn out for it :)
  22. Mine does it when it's cold or more noticable from 1st start in the morning :) I'd say nothing to worry your pretty long legs over ;) Does sound louder than mine to be fair could hear it better on the 2nd clip. But would still call is mild slap. fresh oil once it's been bashed a bit might make it less noticeable
  23. But look at it now you've done amazing job :)
  24. Well I've been beaten on this one :) most I've seen from one guy with no engine rebuild was 226k, he even says he still drives it from time to time he's had it from new but has bought another newer model now and can't bring himself to sell it :)
