  2. Put a load of crap out of the garage into my car after finding a mouse best in the garage. Basically threw anything that could have a mouse in it. Unfortunately also found 3 dead baby mice. Humanly rehomed the adult nice we caught Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Didn't realise you lived in Australia? [emoji6] Good that they came up with the goods Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Cheers bud. Going to the duty free on ferry to buy me a leprechaun, get some luck going Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Last day in Ireland, heading off tonight for the long haul home, only 220 miles but obviously there's a 2.5hr ferry crossing first. Aiming to be home early hours[emoji17]. Still at least the roads will be empty. Lie in tomorrow. Taxed car last Friday, got email last night saying i'd got bank details wrong and that now car wasn't taxed, not helpful as in Ireland. Several calls later managed to convince someone at DVLA that I could pay direct over the phone. Means I can drive home without fear of a fine, would have had to drive whether taxed or not but pretty sure they've got ANPR systems on the A55. Lucky escape in the end [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I generally look at about 2mm to replace with the law obviously being 1.6, can't really judge much lower than that, you should be ok of a couple of months yet unless you scrub the tyres a lot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just finished washing, waxing and interior cleaning of both scoobs. Settling down now for a well earned pint and a blast on far cry or gta[emoji2] Got a good deal really, wife wanted to do house work, I said I'd clean and wax her car while she did house work, result! 8. Got to wash mine and the missus car, off to Dublin tomorrow for the week. [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I often take the sound off or bleep it with a horse sound I've found [emoji237] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What a !Removed!, all that risk and all to gain 1 car length before he turned off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. No I think the overtaking car just hadn't got enough oomph and I was probably going faster than he expected. He also thought id move out of the way, I work on the shipping approach of "might is right". I like the way he even signalled as he cut the other car up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Left mine at home and used train to London, got it filthy driving to Hull. Always seems to get really dirty driving there and back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. well I drove 300 miles today and inevitably encountered my nob for the day. he took so long to overtake it was untrue. I did what I usually do under these circumstances, maintain speed and heading :D . . . . . . . breath in! Also nearly witnessed the demise of this van due to an errant lorry.
  14. Well we know what you watch late at night now [emoji3] But yes, a lot of karchers will suck water up because most have a internal pump. Just check online you'll see which or the karcher website. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Long term forecast suggests above average snowfall and lower temps than average, that is of course if you believe them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Looks like it's just lacquer coat. Good scrub clean and dry, use a fairly coarse polishing paste, and then a finer compound. A think wax like a carnauba and if you want to finish off a lighter wax to put the shine on. That's what I'd try first. Just don't go crackers with the coarse paste. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Not to easy to see what that is from the photo, you could try a coloured tcut these tend to hide it a bit. Other than that of its just in the lacquer coat than a polishing compound should clear it, just don't go mad and take the lacquer cost off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Detailing is claying the car down, removing contaminants fully back to top paint layer, may even include sanding the paint to smooth it out. Then various grades of polishing, sealants and waxes. It's a bit more than "fancy washing" it'll take a whole day more to it properly. Using a clay bar is basic detailing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. If I'm being honest, I'm not sure having used them that they are quite as good as a clay bar for a full detail. However as you would only clay bar a car once every 6months, I think these cloths are great for those in between washes where you want a really nice shine. They're much quicker to use so there is a very slight trade off but much less than I expected. I think I'll still clay once a year rather than my usual twice a year because the clay cloth will become part of my normal wash and wax routine and greatly reduce contaminant buildup and as such the need to clay with a bar. These are just my thoughts, others a little less anoraky may say that the cloth is everything they need. Some will never touch it because they're more anoraky about detailing than I am. For £12 deffo worth a punt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. not sure what happened there, youtube link just vanished, anyway I've put it back up, had to really as its so funny

  22. I had to comply with youtubes terms and conditions which means I had to mask my expletives. If you want to know what I said I referred to him as a reproducing person with a phallic protrusion from his head [emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Update, just posted the vid of the motorcycle, its even funnier watching it back Its in the Dashcams thread in the Interiors Room
  24. Here's my nob of the week. you need the sound on for the full effect of the motorcycle, sorry about the horse but I was less than chuffed by his undertaking ;) Typical young motorcyclist unfortunately. undertakes me on the left turn only lane, cuts me up and then goes straight on. weaves side to side around the roundabout presumably to put some heat into his tyres ready for when he opens up on the dual carriageway. we get onto the dual carriageway and in typical style he opens the taps to leave us all standing, there was just one little detail he overlooked . . . . . . Yep, if you going to ride like your riding a super bike, make sure it IS a super bike so the car your trying to overtaking and the diesel 4x4 your trying to leave behind don't just drive off and leave you looking like a loser! This guy did everything wrong, especially braking as he leant the bike over to set up to leave the roundabout, he's just asking to come off. "Think Bike" . . . . in this case I think its "Biker Think" I reckon this is an 8 out of 10 for nobbiness
  25. Certainly was, will be posting that up in the dashcam bit later Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
