  1. Welcome to the club :)
  2. So is it that maroon coloured car that you see in the video? Parked at the 2nd set of traffic lights.
  3. Wow that was very wet, we had weather like that on Sunday. Also lightening struck so close to my house all power went for about 10 seconds!
  4. Sorry to hear about your accident Betchers, keep us updated on what goes down. Especially with the scoob :). Dash cams are well worth the investment, since I got the Black vue which is front and rear camera I've not had much trouble but doesn't mean there wont be any.
  5. My camera is a Blackvue and I have no complaints :). Bit expensive though but it all works as it should and picture quality is great, night time you can see everything.
  6. Sold the Seat Leon and my old tyres today! Now have some fuel money to spend ;) hehe. Good drive out later I think! Now my insurance should come down and I don't have to pay tax on two cars anymore woop.
  7. Maybe it was about to travel through time? You just needed 5mph more and BOOM you would have vanished.
  8. Welcome back Savage, glad you had a good experience on returning home ;). Also nice to hear the Subaru was still there! I'd be so worried it would have been stolen or something lol. These past couple of weeks I've been messing around with the Dump Valve, I had a Bailey one on it and it just didn't seem to be working very well. So I decided to buy a Turbosmart dual port only to find i needed an extra part, bought that and the damn thing doesn't fit due to the throttle body sensor being too close. So I put the Bailey back on using the new gasket I had acquired and WOW maybe that was my problem ;). Running awesome again with the Bailey. Lesson learnt, don't just buy parts on a whim. I'm now two dump valves up and £300 down :(. Got the Turbosmart and standard recirc on ebay to try and get some money back.
  9. So you don't hold the record then Stants? :(
  10. Isn't a KAs top speed something like 115mph?
  11. Does it get worse at higher revs? Could be diff.
  12. I almost lost it, felt the back end wanting to step out so had to let off the throttle slightly... good thing I've got that big wing on the back for downforce :O.
  13. No worries, hope they sort it for you :)
  14. They will fit your car, the set i bought was quite similar. However even though it says they are a coolant hose kit there are a couple of vacuum hoses that it replaces, the 3 that connect the metal pipework on the front of your intercooler and 2 that connect to the pipework at the back of the engine bay. I wouldn't use the 2 that connect to the back, they just sucked flat under boost but you can try. As for the coolant hoses, when fitting if they seem like you need to stretch them slightly to get them on don't do it. I made that mistake with mine, the bottom rad hose was slightly too short and started to leak. Same for the coolant hose to the turbo, this one actually killed my turbo but it's because I didn't notice it. Just check coolant levels and for any collant stains near your new hoses and you will be okay :).
  15. I removed some vacuum pipework on the Subaru tonight to tidy it up a bit, it's been on for less than 100 miles and looks like this... I think I may need to invest in an oil catch can!
  16. Most likely will fit yes but you need to be careful with cheaper hoses, they can be the wrong legnth or not strong enough. Can you post a link to them?
  17. Here is a Fiesta that decided to overtake only to realise there is nowhere to go.... he proceeded to push his way into the traffic lol.
  18. Okay I get what you mean now, so all you have done is swap the cards? Nothing internal?
  19. I've read somewhere before that It's a heater fan that blows onto the cat to lower emissions from cold.
  20. Have you tried locking each door individually? Sit inside the car and lock each one, if one door is not able to lock it may cause the others to stay unlocked.
  21. Got a couple of videos to put up tonight :). One is a silly overtake the other isn't silly but annoying :(
  22. That's subaru's for you, they can have problems but they still run and run.... hope you find the problem :)
  23. Wouldn't cost too much to do that really, for a decent turbo model you are looking at £4k these days. The price of them keep going up, the lower priced ones are not so healthy usually
  24. You can also do most of that in stages, you only really need to do a remap with the cams. That's only to make the most of the change :).
  25. Applied Model - B Start - Sept 2001 End - Oct 2002 Model of Impreza - WRX STi Applied Model - GDBB4EH Gearbox Code - TY856WB1AA Engine type - EJ207DW4CR Power (PS) - 280 Shift type - 6 speed That should help you out a little bit :)
