  1. Yea front garden so I can keep an eye on the neighbours
  2. Sofa...not snowing here
  3. It is more expensive to run that my wife's Honda. Lower MPG and higher servicing but life is about having fun and enjoying yourself and not saving your money so the government can nick it off you when you need care or [email protected]'s that rant thread
  4. I'd take your liver if it's going spare. Need another with all the abuse mine is getting. Op, Good luck with your sale mate. I wanted this colour when I bought my bug eye in 2001. Very nice
  5. Yea price is reasonable. I met a 26yo (I think he was, trying to remember the year he had tattooed onto his neck) with a green BMW M5. He was paying £450 a month + £1k deposit!! He said it would have been the same for an Impreza. I didn't get to ask him about his driving history, by the way he drove around Id expect frequent accidents [emoji53]
  6. [emoji20] shame was looking forward to seeing the results...although will still be keen to see the wheels [emoji16]
  7. Can't you just buy a black one? There's plenty around [emoji6] You can spend £700 on a WRX and get it from 225 to 270bhp very easily [emoji16]
  8. Have you had an insurance quote on a 2ltr blob? That'll be cheaper initial cost, tax and petrol and probably insurance [emoji6] If it makes you feel better I always thought a hawk looks like a seat Leon from the front [emoji4]I couldn't bring myself to pay 500 tax...just makes me feel sick thinking about it. Lol. I love my Subaru. No other car has made me smile so much...I've been doing 100 miles a day this year and every time I get in it and turn key key it brings a smile to my face...even with a 50 mile M25 drive ahead of me It isn't as comfortable and quiet as other cars but it's soo much more fun. Hit 3.5k RPM and yeeeehaaaaar [emoji16]
  9. This is a good source of information on engine performance. Duncan talks about taking it to 300 bhp and says an induction kit won't improve performance. Just need an upgraded panel filter. http://www.racedynamix.co.uk/remap/subaru-remapping/typical-upgrade-path-newage-2-0-wrx/ I have a 2.0 wx blob. So slightly different car :D I did Pipercross panel filter, WR Sport back box (it was a standard option for my car from Prodrive, I got it 2nd hand off eBay) and a Walbro. Duncan remapped it to VPower and I got 272bhp. I didn't really do it for the extra power. I wanted slightly better economy (if possible) and a smoother delivery of power and better midrange. It really does feel like a new car. Theres no jerkiness going through the gears now. As for economy, the Walbro seemed to dent my MPG figures - I get about 60miles less a tank now.....the remap a few months after has helped but it didn't bring it down to pre-walbro figures.
  10. Welcome mate....nice purchase. You got any plans for it?
  11. Thanks dude. Very interesting...especially as mine has done 68.
  12. My value is £4k and I do 12k miles. I'm 45 and it costs me £220 a year for standard car. So there's a good comparison [emoji3]
  13. How much do you pay Savage? As you said really does depend on loads of factors...the main one being how the insurer sees mods...some insurers specialist in the lower risk over 40's ford and bmw drivers
  14. What's the benefit of a transmission mount Snoop?
  15. Yea depend or what the company declares on the packet and whether customs decide to pick on that package. If it does get stopped its normally weeks of delay and cost...if it doesn't then could arrive at your door quicker than some places deliver from the UK [emoji3]
  16. Does it have a stereo with USB? Scoobs do typically come with rubbish speakers and head unit. You could save the £1k for any surprises
  17. Anything over £18 gets whacked. So value. I'd guess it'll be 20% of value + handling + admin.
  18. http://youtu.be/2MdZDBXB4GQ
  19. Here you go...he's all the way through it but 8:10 roughly
  20. Ah right interesting. You said wrapped...is It wrapped in plasti dip? I originally asked as I saw a documentary at (in think) the start of the year with a scoob in very similar colours...I didn't think it was a standard colour so wondering if it was the car from the docu
  21. I thought all P1s were WR blue...except for the prototype white...is this an official colour or a re spray?
  22. As far as I'm aware we don't have any rules like that. We're one country...so your car is either legal or not legal country wide...anyone know any differently? It's not like the US with state laws.
  23. Thats a very nice offer :)
  24. and you also need something to do when you get it :) always nice to have a good fiddle ;)
  25. P.S. looks a nice car :)
