  1. For sure. But given the reputation traders seem to give themselves it's worth knowing what your rights are. Hopefully it is as you day and it's a nice simple situation [emoji5]
  2. Supply of goods and services act only applies to contracts before 1st October 2015. Now this sort of thing is under the consumer right act.
  3. my mrs allways tells me girf and big is good Not the size of the nail that counts, it's the size of the hammer that hits it. [emoji23]
  4. franchise from what i can tell, flashmaps rather than proper map. stay clear Just see that too. Edited my post but you beat me to it [emoji106]
  5. Two of the reviews mention different places. One called ridgeway in Rotherham and the other a place called a1 in hull. I didn't read any further down. Are they a travelling mapper? They do respond to bad feedback whoch is always a good thing. Does seem like they're a brand name as opposed to an actual company so may have different mappers all over the place.
  6. Did you buy it from a trader? If so, and they try to pull a fast one just mention the consumer rights act. http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act You're outside the 30 day instant refund but within 60 days so legally the fault is presumed to have existed already. Have a read through it so you have the knowledge when you contact them and in situations like this do it in writing with recorded delivery and keep copies for yourself. You may not need to go maximum effort with the legal side but with that much money at risk it's best to cover your back.
  7. Tesco and sainsbury stores both stocked it at £28. http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/gb/groceries/forza-horizon-3-xbox-one?langId=44&storeId=10151&krypto=5Zxfa3MkOb6XyHqReb3NajSfc6JxgK3X0RDiCBFdfyuyzXMwHGzjT1jZIv4uETkoaqxh1VEhANJXVu24DPvBfS9olTxlx%2FQVZG%2BNJWnkhR%2FdcaDIx0I8KR6ewFjd9zsQIXAAU44HYC87048NXBcWA6fDhFGSZz1HCYdVWEhc%2FsALx1XoxuCYj9pADwGPxLSJWz8L9DwKmM7QiuhZARVaxFwy%2FGVqrCYZQBWMvWNNOeg%3D&ddkey=http%3Agb%2Fgroceries%2Fforza-horizon-3-xbox-one Edit: added link
  8. You looking for physical or download? Can be found for sub £30 physical now. I can probably find you a code sub 30 too.
  9. Figured it was that. Just about made it out from first pic. Reg on dyno says NL04OBE. [emoji5] [emoji106]
  10. Only noticed the reg on the dyno print out doesn't bring any car up on my checker apps.
  11. I had a maf code about 2 months ago. Cleared the code and it hasn't come back. I'm stripping all intake the weekend and gonna replace sensors anyway. No history of a maf ever being done and this will give peace of mind.
  12. Ordered a new maf and knock sensor. Hoping that will sort my rich running problem out. Also ordered a 409.1 vag cable to try and datalog using freessm.
  13. Good thread GC8 Turbo 2000 TD04 turbo Cosworth panel filter Unnamed 3" decat turbo back exhaust 3 port boost solenoid RCM fuel pump Ecutek licensed remap. All other parts as standard on turbo 2000 UK spec v6.
  14. Does the cooling fan come on? Does it overheat in traffic? Are you losing any coolant?
  15. Importcarparts.co.uk or opie oils. Both good suppliers and pie offer a discount for club members. I always go to icp when I want anything Subaru related.
  16. Love an oil thread. I use 10w40 Miller's cfs or trident. Seems to be quite widely accepted that Miller's are one of the best oils for subaru.
  17. 3 parts to every story. 1: Your version 2: My version 3: The truth
  18. It's only happened recently though. I had a maf code pop up a few months back bit cleared it and all good. Had that oil surge issue at silverstone which may have caused some kind of issue. Maybe the past month it's been rich. Dyno guy said all is healthy apart from WOT. Gonna replace maf and knock sensor to rule them out and not sure whether to dyno it again to check it go straight to map tweak.
  19. Bad news 😰 Cars running so rich his machine couldn't pick it up. Can clearly see the flat spot and it's robbing me of 30hp [emoji19] Properly miffed at why it's started doing it. Time for a tweak and investigate....wonder who I can find to map it. (hot potato)
  20. In for an afr check. I thinks it running a bit rich but wouldn't be sure why. Have no sensor issues. Better safe than sorry. Will likely get power print outs too. Haven't had one since April 2015
  21. Place local to me called Hayes engineering. http://www.hayesdynotech.co.uk Seem to specialise more so in evos but a few local guys have used his dyno.
  22. Dropped her off at the dyno. Not the most ideal situation as I'd rather be there for it. Got offered Saturday work and being self employed with 10 days off for Xmas had to take the work. Gave her a health check last night and a quick blitz this morning so all rosey. Garage is recommended around here too.
  23. Hard to always know for sure. Average about 5.
