The piston took a crap and stuck little bits of debris in the head, and I can watch the avcs solenoid chasing the actual pulley trying to keep the advance steady, so probs leaky seals in pulley (bought car with bad piston) Same one that was mapped?

Whiteline paint is really thin. If you ever get whiteline goodies stick an extra coat on it.

I do the same. I leave it to idle until oil is around 40-50° then set off at a steady pace to allow the rest of it to warm up.

Booked in for a power run on 10th to check the fueling as I think it's running rich. Told the missus it's in for an Afr check as power run comes across as something far too fun 😈

Import Impreza? Any CEL? Sounds like Cam or crank sensor. I'm assuming it turns over, it just wont catch?

What width are your current wheels? And offset.

Offset is relative to width of Rim. An 8" wheel with et50 will not be the same as 7" wheel on et50. The offset is the measurement from the centre of the wheel to the face that bolts to the hub. Et50 on a 7"(177mm)Rim leaves you with 138.5mm back of the hub towards strut and 38.5mm stick out from the hub towards the edge of wing. 8" (203mm) would be 151.5mm towards the strut and 51.5mm away from hub. Offsets are always awkward and confusing.

Order a new set up from Amazon, take the sender out put yours in cleaned up and send it all back for a refund 😜 Far to honest for that [emoji23] Service seems to have sorted the questionable pressure. I did take out the switch and clean it so may have been that too.

Oil service and oil pressure switch fault investigation. I've really struggled to find a replacement switch for the depo gauge. Does anyone know where best to find a new one? I've contacted Deporacing.eu but no reply yet.

Usual culprit is a faulty O2/Lambda sensor. If it is the case the car will run a bit rich. Short term it won't do any damage but long term you end up with bore was which thins the oil. You'll also notice a drop in MPG.

You've only got 0.2° camber on the fronts. Might be that someone has put your camber bolts in the rear wheel. Failing that grab four and try again.

Do you have camber bolts in there rear? Been lowered? 2° of negative camber is a hell of a lot for a rear wheel. You'll certainly notice increased shoulder wear. I had the same issue when getting alignment done. Steer wheel sits slightly left and after a return visit and nearly 4 hours there they decided to blame my tyres for pushing it out. Had the right ar$3hol3 by then so had to live with it.

Turbo 2000 (X reg) owned for 2 years. Bought at 158k miles and now at 173k. Input shaft seal leak on gearbox likely caused by both age and myself. 2 synchro and 3 bearings replaced at same time due to age related wear.

What's the idea of drivetribe?

Quite a lot involved. New sump, new manifold and different oil feed to the turbo(as far as I know) you also lose your burble.

I have a 3" turbo back decat and made 280ft-lb on a 2.0 TD04. not sure having a 2.5" would give more torque.
