Keith Michaels - experiences?
Yeah it's all posted. Doesn't seem to be any online service. I have legal cover and windscreen cover(with excess) but I'm not sure if I paid extra whsn I first went with them 2 years ago. I call up now ask renewal price and if it's acceptable I say go ahead.

Cold start problem
Any check engine lights? Usually a hot start issue but it could also be cam sensor or crank sensor. How old is the battery? Voltage may be fine but cranking amp could be low so it doesn't have enough oomph to crank the engine fast enough. Let us know if anything else changes.

Keith Michaels - experiences?
Started my 3rd year insured with Kieth Michael's. No real drama except for getting hold of Gary Moulson. Not sure why no-one else can talk to Impreza owners about thier insurance though. They've always made it easy so stuck with them. Usually ends up £10-20 higher than flux but for that pittance id rather not have the hassle starting a new policy, sending NCB, proof of mileage and all that gubbins.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
The FB post has mysteriously vanished after I said the pic looked familiar and asked who they'd bought it off [emoji54] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think gambit had a few shots done last year sometime with the white hatch. Looked really good.

Had my tweak today. Managed to get exactly 276.3hp again. Found an extra 10ftlb too. Graph looks a lot smoother now so could well be the old maf was already showing fatigue.

Engine Issue???
Sounds like the oil fairy is coming in and draining your sump. Have you checked under the seat? That's where they normally leave the 20p piece...

Looks so nice. Love of the sound of these but after having a letter from the council last year I doubt my neighbours will like it 😂

My 2000 turbo.
I believe they're earlier Impreza wheels. Afaik these were standard wheels for v5-v6 cars

impreza wrx gc8 version 1
How far do you want to go? What budget so you have? Is it an import? Do you have a power figure it mind? Usual first route is aftermarket exhaust. Cat back at first and for bigger gains a change of downpipe to either a sports cat or decat(decat will fail emmisions test on mot). Panel filter or cone filter. Collect it all together with a remap. Would advise putting a new, upgraded fuel pump in too. Yours will be getting on now and with mods the engine will want more fuel. Last thing you want is to run lean.

I didn't notice that bit [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] makes a Newage weigh over 3 ton [emoji106] [emoji33] [emoji23] Certainly put his best selling tie on for that advert.

How does it only cost £45 to fill the tank with 99 momentum? Smells like a fib coming from someone that claims to have extensive subaru knowledge.

I wouldn't bother looking at the mileage on the engine now. It will depend on the quality of the build also depends how extensive the build was. Mileage will still play a part in gearbox, diffs and all other components. I bought my turbo 2000 over 2yrs ago when it had 158k and it's now on 174k. Biggest issue I have had was gearbox input shaft seal which was my own fault because I crunched a gear. Seal was probably weak anyway but wasn't leaking before I did that.
