  1. Ok so I have just lost x2 hours browsing that site and my shopping list has gone from a single light to about 20 different items Best revise my budget
  2. Yup a model specific site will get you more members / interaction with model in common and quite a few of the members on here contribute to other model specific sites - with this forum we throw a wide Subaru net but it takes time to build the depth with some areas being more successful than others. There is a GT86 parked up that we pass quite regularly by me and I get a nudge in the ribs from SWMBO as she fancies a little two door number so I can see one of those being added to the list at some point
  3. That does look like a clean example - engine bay looks "honest" - there were a couple of people in the intros section looking for motors - might be worth pointing them in his direction?
  4. Wotcha and welcome - as above. Keep us posted and feel free to create a build thread, i get the impression whatever you end with there will be some fettling going on ☺
  5. Yup they do look awesome but as Stants said knowing the PCD etc will let people know if they will fit their motor ☺
  6. Wotcha and welcome - yes it does sound like there will be some modifications in the offing
  7. Messed about with stereo unit after disconnecting power Replaced pollen filter
  8. Guess how I spent my afternoon.... If you lose power to the Kenwood FXDD07EF2 unit all of the stored navigation information is lost - next time power comes on it says insert MAP DVD with no other on screen options. To eject your update DVD to allow installation of the original NAV DVD first press the eject / tilt button then whilst the screen is in full tilt position press and hold the top right corner of the touch screen for 5 seconds or so - this will then eject the update DVD and allow the installation of the earlier version from Subaru. Credit to AusLefty from subaruforester.org who posted this information originally on their forum
  9. Did you get the crossovers put in? Did it sort the issue?
  10. Wotcha and welcome - unfortunately I cannot answer your question but hopefully one of the other members more familiar with your model will be along in a bit
  11. ooooohhhh liking that a lot - now def on the mod list - do you have a link?
  12. Here is the 60k one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/impreza-sti/subaru-impreza-22b-sti/5209485
  13. filled up with Vpower - took delivery of some service parts - cam belt kit arrived plus 1st half of oils coolants and filters
  14. Link works for me - anyone else having issues with it??
  15. Wotcha and welcome - great looking motor although I cannot answer any of the questions sorry
  16. I have run black diamond in the past and been pleased with the results - currently running brembo discs which are good for the road use but I don't know as they would be great on the track - that may well be down to original rubber hoses in place and not due to the pads themselves
  17. There are a couple of threads where this was discussed - as I remember the only issue may be when it comes to MOT time as HIDs are supposed to have an auto levelling function fitted. However the amount of kits available I would suggest there are a fair few fitted without this in place
  18. Wotcha and welcome - only seen two up recently - here is one - not 100% original though http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C692818
  19. Fitted the missing pair of spacers so all wheels now sit equally in the arches
