  1. liking what you have as inspiration - will look very menacing - RS200 a beast indeed and looks in great condition It might be worth posting in the wanted section for the exhaust - it will get greater visibility
  2. The prodrive upgrade may well have included the uprated fuel pump already but if it is not supplying the correct pressure it may need changing - this you will find out when having it mapped. I wasnt suggesting an injector upgrade more a clean to ensure they are performing as they should. Miltek again great product but you pay for it. Nothing wrong with the Ninja if that is your preferred taste. Dependant on what model Afterburner you buy it will be cat back or not - obviously if you buy a back box only it wont be from the cat back but if you buy the cat back package it will be
  3. from a fitment and performance perspective it is their equal - they may weigh slightly less so if you are in a stripped out light weight that would mean something but given there is very little to the afterburner I don't thing you would be able to tell in a normal car. As mentioned before Scooby world are good to talk to - when I have spoken to them in the past they have been very helpful, check these out http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_53 for what you want / need I would go for the afterburner product and spend the money saved on a session with JGM or an alternative as you may find to take full advantage additional expense may be needed on servicing injectors, replacing / uprating fuel pump and air filter
  4. looking good - will make a great car for someone

I think the subaru vs ferrari car the subaru is a long way from a standard model - side exit exhaust plastic windows equal length headers - some serious work gone into it, that is probably why it absolutely spanked the prancing horse and why the lambo face off was closer, still prime examples of bang for buck investment being better with the Japanese models
  9. great way to do a project instead of hunting bit by bit, looking good so far :)
  10. Do you have some photos you could share?

Have a good one chum :)
  12. it can be done however the cost of individual parts plus time to complete the job outweighs buying a turbo model model in the first instance. So if you want to do it purely for the challenge feel free to create a new project thread and you will get lots of help and encouragement :)

the circumference of the wheel and tyre combination - so if the wheel increases in diameter the profile (sidewall) of the tyre needs to reduce in size to maintain the OEM diameter size and therefore circumference
  14. looking good there - Im interested to see just how much oil ends up in those tanks after a few miles - just how much gets blown out of the breathers. Quick question what are you using to fabricate the mounting brackets?
  15. Silicone - good way to go unless fitting FMIC of course ;)
  16. nightmare - what a shame, one of my fave writers and performers
  17. HTA Autos arch trims - they suggest sanding to blend with a non widetrack bumper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-STi-WRX-01-07-Rear-Wide-Wheel-Arch-Trims-Mouldings-PU-Plastic-/310805499182?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item485d738d2e
  18. this bumper looks like it would blend with the arches http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIT-RACING-SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-05-07-STI-ING-REAR-BUMPER-/161265412400?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item258c2ae930
  19. after some digging - it does indeed look like they are different and the lips do fit flush with the bumper - there is also a trim line that follows within the moulding between the arch and the bumper - the examples I have seen also look like the runners / side skirts are different also. got this info from this link... http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/50525/subaru_impreza.html Over and above the established Spec C chassis, the 2005 chassis has a 15mm wider rear track and wider rims (up from 7.5 to 8.0in) with wider-spaced mounting bolts. This increase in what is technically known as Pitch Circle Diameter from 100 to 114.3mm comes as a result of fitting larger, stronger roller bearings for better wheel control. Also, 114.3mm is a more commonly used PCD that allows a wider choice of wheel for those rallying the WRX in Group N. some wide track wheels http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-onward-Subaru-Impreza-Speedline-Corse-17x8-Alloys-Wide-Track-5x114-in-Gold-/171336310049?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET&fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru|Cars+Type%3A2.0+WRX+STi|Model%3AImpreza&hash=item27e4709d21
