  1. looking good - after going back to the original photos I see what you have had sprayed - I thought you were going to have the mesh colour coded to match Doh!!
  2. I gave the vid 17 minutes, as I am interested to understand an external viewpoint... Is there an exec overview of the blog points as it got a little too onerous for me? Sorry as Steve clearly knows his stuff but I could do with a key points summary.
  3. Wotcha and welcome - looking forward to seeing those pics :)
  4. Wotcha and welcome!!
  5. Here we go - just over half a minute in and I'm lumpy :D
  6. cant see this one - just message from the chap posting about the original being removed...
  7. looking good - now as one salivating gear head any chance of some moving pics capturing the engine note? :P
  8. some nice work there - the wheels are my fave more of a touring car look - bravo!!
  9. could be a number of things - air leaks, fouled actuators. Check for any codes or as Gambit suggests give Martin a shout
  10. just watched it again - who needs a Lambo or high end merc when you get blown away by a Scooby :P
  11. Its always the way with modding but it will all come in time and you get to drive it whilst you save :)
  12. I didnt think there was any difference in the bumpers but someone may be a long with some different info I would go with wider wheels instead of a spacer but either solution would work, one obviously being cheaper than the other, Im just not a fan of spacers
  13. Id get on the phone to Adrian Flux and see what they say instead of the online approach
  14. that exhaust crackle on breaking is amazing, imagine doing that into a local roundabout on your ring road / bypass
  15. as above - if I knew the track and could trailer it home it would be enthusiastically driven ;)
  16. looking good - a subtle improvement ;)
  17. it was a good job it didnt rain as that would have been game over with all the electrical wiggies being washed away
  18. that is C-lean!
  19. Stanton has it covered nicely there - your motor is probably one of the 300bhp model - If that is the case I would look to do the full Type UK / Prodrive mod which is an uprated fuel pump, sports back box and high flow panel filter as well as the remap. This should get you a reliable 330 - 350 bhp. From a cost perspective you may find you could get a cat back system for similar money to the Prodrive back box
  20. Tough one that - I would go with the TT due to the built up areas being more immediate but unfortunately they have both bitten people many times over the years
  21. Wotcha and welcome Berny, we have a few Legacy members on here with quite a bit knowledge. It would probably help if you could post some photos and could share the model number which is located on the VIN plate
  22. Jay762 replied to stants's topic in Junk Room
not my thing - no petrol involved
  23. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to browse and get stuck in with the forum, also we do like pictures and your motor sounds like a real find so feel free to post and share
