  1. Wotcha and welcome - we have had a Fozzie roof rails search before, I dont know about the colour but they come in quite expensive brand new - less from the US for some reason so what I would suggest is to get them off and refurbed / coated in whatever colour you fancy members have done the tinting themselves without too many issues but unfortunately teh quality of cheaper films shows very quickly with peeling and discolouring - recommed either spend more on the kit yourself or get a pro to do the job - they are not as expensive - and the money saved on not buying roof rails could be allocated for that instead ;) Skid plates I dont know about and would be interested in the answer to that one myself although if you browse the forum and check out Farmerpugs latest exploits Fozzies go into and out of hedges not needing a skid plate at all :D
  2. I agree with the wing and bodykit opinions you have buuut it does look like you would have a very individual motor when completed and not afraid to kick up its heels either It will be great to have all these great project threads in one place and we are hopeing that will be along in the very near future. Going to enjoy following this one as well :)
  3. Wotcha and welcome - I concur with Pete pressures plus the nitrogen is the way to go
  4. reading that post I was going to suggest encouraging him towards the forum and sharing some photos ;)
  5. Yes, it is the one with the breakdown at the end and the slow mo shots
  6. Hi Mario - couldnt get the link to work - did you mean this one with Mark Higgins and his 150 mph fish tail?
  7. Aah yes that shining beacon of speed and efficiency
  8. its going to take a steady hand to pour it from that distance :D

  12. I had an s13 200sx a while back - the subaru was the first car to put a smile on my face since owning that motor :)
  13. they are Agelis 51's 225 / 60R / 16C
  14. Wotcha and welcome Dave - if you are already maintaining some older cars the Fozzie should be no problem for you
  15. Running Mich Agelis on my van - they may have changed the compound as have done 15k on them so far mostly Mway miles, just swopped front to rear to stretch replacement, grip is excellent though particularly in the snow, had no problems when the snow has hit over the last couple of years
  16. oh dear no accounting for taste - would be ok if they were functional but I get the impression that is purely for looks
  17. flywheel skimming at the same time is a wise move - ensures optimum clutch operation and stops uneven wear
  18. Wotcha and welcome - great looking vehicle you have there Servicing These cars have belts normally good for 40K - various types available for replacement, the branded kevlar ones being the most expensive oil - this one is always up for discussion but I would go for a fully synthetic API JASO spec 5W 40 as we have a forum discount through OPIE oils you could check with OILMAN (Tim) and get his opinion, not today though as it is his Birthday and he may be a little delicate ;) check standard stuff like air filter, plugs, brake pads and consider flushing the brake lines through with fesh DOT 5.1 fluid
  19. big boys started it, then ran away :D
  20. Great looking car - having black wheels makes them look smaller as well - ask any lady with an LBD :)
  21. I wonder if they actually know the market they are selling into??
