  4. That sounds like a plan - that Capri has made me all warm and fuzzy inside
  5. That is a smart looking vehicle - and IMO if you cant have the power sort the handling and weight and then you save on brake pads by cornering like its on rails :D
  6. Lichfield are recommending 18's as a min for tweaked STI's and I know at least one other member is running 19's in the summer so as long as the rolling radius is not changed 19's should be fine - there are some comments around about the track width being affected on older Subarus leading to handling difficulties but havent come across anything for new age and the STI track is wider then the wrx anyway
  7. hey you were the one who forced me into browsing Subaru goodies sites - I was driven to distraction for at least an hour ;) I must confess my own list is quite lengthy - nothing ever seems to get removed only more things added!!
  8. you can load some in the gallery or set up a photobucket account (its free) (others are available) and post the IMG link - looking good so far though
  9. nice idea addressing flow at both ends :P wrt to the wheels - my 2p drifters etc are giving it stacks in a controlled environment where things are de risked to a certain degree, individuals behind barriers and themselves inside strengthened cars if they have a failure it can be contained if you are doing 70 on a dual track or motorway and you get a stress fracture it is harder to contain and the ramifications can be greater due to the surrounding environment. Also if they dont fit spot on with the car you have, there could be undue stressed on your bearings and hubs - you have spent a lot of money on a great car, I dont think it is worth it.
  10. Wotcha and welcome Daniel - I to am a recent convert and am thoroughly smitten Sounds like you have something that will satisfy your six star appetite until insurance becomes a little more than astronomical - there is a thread that recently covered some of our first cars and believe me what your driving is what I was aspiring to at your age ;) looking forward to the photos!!
  11. Yes it was longlife / cardiff exhausts I was thinking of http://www.longlifecaerphilly.co.uk/
  12. Have done some digging and all the references that I can find state 5x114 for the STI from 2005
  13. Get a good set of pictures posted online - also it will be a longer term thing but start attending some classic car shows where potential collectors frequent
  14. at what point on the dyno trace is the boost coming in, is the boost constant throughout the run, what was the air fuel ratio at the flat spot, how did that compare to the rest of the trace?
  15. here it is http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=40_187&products_id=659
  16. Ill do some digging - I have quite a few links but cannot remember which one it was, oh dear best I browse some more Scooby performance shops again ;)
  17. There is a supplier that does half and half with their spoilers which I thought looked smart, the end support parts of the spoiler were colour coded and they left the wing part as exposed carbon
  18. well at least you got to compare the two back to back - all good now though ;)
  19. Wotcha and welcome - would be great to see some photo's it was the capri that formed my love of coupes
  20. Better see how long you would last - I was 24 hours http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/movie/world-war-z/would-you-survive-a-global-disaster-survival-survey/ 73.3% on this one http://zomboid.com/zombie/
  21. Just as long as there are no ruffled feathers along the way dont want to be faced with this at the end of a journey :D
