  1. That looks well smart - the missus had her eye on one of those a couple of years back, never quite got everything lined up to get one though
  2. Great pictures - cracking weekend for it!
  3. cant see a link here am I missing something
  4. yup didnt think the US one worked - they were all a little wooden in their delivery
  5. Gutted cant make it - dont forget to post some piccies!!
  6. opinion is divided - some say a steady 50-100 miles of driving but IMO x2 hard brake checks and you are good to go inside 5 miles ;) echo the ebc statements have got brembo discs and pads on mine and I think they are too wooden and fade is terrible after just 1 brake check I will be going EBC yellow pad (used them before) and braided brake hoses all round as soon as funds permit
  7. Wotcha and welcome - we are a comparatively new forum so there is still lots of info being added all the time but we have got some very knowledgeable members - and we do like pictures so feel free to post
  8. Wotcha and welcome - once a modder always a modder - its all about being an individual and of course safety first (exactly the reason I am using) ;)
  9. just for info as it has come up - the oiling of a filter is to catch the really fine particles that ordinarily would pass through the filter, hence the requirement to clean and re oil periodically - it is only to be a very light oiling, the filter shouldn't be dripping in the stuff, on the pipercross ones the only way you can tell its been oiled is it changes colour slightly as I use the blue putoline filter oil but after a day on the track particularly in dry conditions it is covered in dust and light blue no longer
  10. These are for non turbo, normally aspirated (NA) cars :) I have used K&N on cars and bikes and Pipercross on MX bikes - when it comes down to a choice between these two go for whichever you like the look of as they are both good quality manufacturers - or additionally take into consideration the point Miggs made about having one that you do not need to oil
  11. That is a distinct possibility particularly when the turbo spools up
  12. it will be loud that is true but it is suggested just a short journey - on a positive note it will put a smile on your face as if it is the exhaust your car will take off through the range no probs :D
  13. if you dont need a new engine sort the shocks and wheel bearing otherwise you will be just making a noise on your driveway :P
  14. I would have thought you could remove it - I believe it is just for noise damping
  15. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to start sticking some photos up of your projects.

  17. The shop account and forum accounts are separate for security reasons, but you are correct there should a be a clearer logout option from the shop ill drop the Admin team a line
  18. I know Perth based RA developments have chosen Cobra as their development partner for the BRZ GT*^ project they are working on so I dont think you will be dissappointed
