  1. Here is some additional info http://www.autokool.co.uk/faq_13.html @Kevin they do say you should use your air con at least once a week to get the gas moving otherwise leaks can occur - had the A/C on hot during the recent cold snap - toasty :)
  2. Yup summer holiday is best time for flexibility my end
  3. Have had words with she whom must be obeyed and we would be up for it.
  4. Had a look at my own system just to check - Im sure it wont be a fluid that is topped up on yours it is gas so will need charging at a garage - you can get a top up over here for about £20. used to be freon but now I think it is R134a a similar refrigerant gas but a bit more eco friendly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane
  5. There are places that can remap the OEM ECU - a dyno will give you a read out of the BHP and how your car is running - rich, lean etc some places do use a rolling road to set the fuelling through the rev range, other places however will do it in car on the road but what you then get is a BHP estimate. The outcome is the same though but I understand not using the dyno is cheaper
  6. looking great - job well done that
  7. Wotcha and welcome - thats a great spec on the car!
  8. That is definitely a result
  9. Wotcha and welcome
  10. get the panels off first and measure up - there are a couple of how to vids knocking about that involve cutting some mdf spacer rings this allows a greater depth of speaker without cutting panels etc. So before you commit the funds understand what you can do yourself to knock up some fittings and how much space you have to work with
  11. very nice and can accommodate a harness - like it
  12. Just need to purchase another now to even up the flaps, got the idea from seeing other logo'd flaps on the places like scooby world
  13. Wotcha and welcome - thats a great way to start on a new forum :)
  14. Are you looking for new, used, do you have a budget in mind?
  15. So I finally got around to sorting the site branding out - first time I have ever stuck stickers on a vehicle - the ocd in me is not completely happy as they are not quite level...grrr but I do like the look. Steve I would like to talk about the type UK stickers that now look really shabby next to the nice shiny SOC one ;)
  16. Wotcha and welcome Hayley - congratulations, I dont know if we have a member with a specific replica but if you get really stuck, as I am also Kiddy based, I can provide something that sounds and smells similar + I know of a couple of hump back bridges just off the 449 so you we could recreate a bit of nostalgia...
  17. Thats a good price all in particularly if your brakes are shot / seized and discs worn, it would get you back on the road. my 2p I would think about the type / style of driving you do - if you give it stacks on a regular basis and dont need it addressing immediately I would take a slower upgrade route - start with braided hoses then do discs and pads then do calipers improving the existing - but l do love winding it on and always like to know the brakes and tyres are going to scrub it off sharpish
  18. to be fair _ i havent run mine on 95 ron so I am only drawing a comparison between the previous Shell Vpower stuff as that is all I have used in it
  19. Sounds like a result - let us know how you get on
  20. Wotcha and welcome - lovely motor, great price!
  21. Dont mind a bit of HIM, listening to this quite a bit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqKZuEJOEqg
  22. Half way through a tank of it - more expensive no difference felt
  23. ^^^
  24. I think its Budweg and I believe they are to brakes as remoulds are to tyres they 'remanufacture' calipers so effectively a refurbished unit with new seals etc Not used them myself but if it is a used set of calipers they may need a service anyway dependant on condition http://www.budweg.com/
  25. ebay or try these chaps & chapesses, very helpful when I phoned them in the past http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_54
