  1. it would depend on the panel filter - a high flow one and an exhaust should have one as it could run a little lean. with the induction kits some of them increase the diameter of the intake which again would benefit from a remap as you are flowing a greater volume of air
  2. caught PE with Anthrax at Brixton on the Bring the noise tour - awesome! Dont mind a bit of Chamillionaire meself or Giggs if Im wanting something UK
  3. I found one in Old Kilpatrick http://www.scottishsubarus.co.uk/ and Powertune in Motherwell http://www.power-tune.net/ however I know nothing about them I do know of RA in Perth and would consider the drive up there, blow the cobwebs out across the Stirling straights :) http://www.ra-motorsport.co.uk/Home/Pages/contact Revolution in Gateshead http://www.just-subaru.com/contact-68410-0.html Eclipse Subaru tuning Sunderland http://www.subarutuning.co.uk/pages/About-us.html#58
  4. That screw in the handle is a useful tip, nice one
  5. I had a superchips mod done on my nissan 200sx years ago - never had any problems with it however that was before they could remap the standard ECU, see what the chaps say understand what would be involved with remapping the standard ECU and make the decision then. What you dont want to end up with is compensating for other worn components ie partially blocked injectors. Start with a known baseline of good then look to improve on it
  6. I may be mistaken but from the photo's it looks like you have disconnected the recirc valve but not removed it just added the additional DV so now it will be venting to atmosphere as well...
  7. excellent - enjoyed the recent remake as well Have just introduced my lad to the young ones - its going down rather well
  8. Wotcha and welcome - great to have you onboard :)

  13. something like a 4 door hatchback, leccie windows air con, get the shopping in big mirrors for good all round visibility... this one is ideal :D
  14. Thats great news all coming together nicely!!
  15. That does look great - have you touched base with the Berks & Surrey Subaru chaps yet, I know you fancied doing some meets etc
  16. Welcome - great to have a new dealership open - its not local to myself but there are a few members on here that are based close to you.
  17. ahh see - yes you do need mirrors and its a real pity individuals take that approach with other peoples property
  18. was it folded in when damaged... or would that have not made any difference?
  19. Researching for a couple of replacements came across this review of summer tyres, they are all quite close in the results with a Hancook offering taking 5th place of 9 http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2013-Auto-Review-Performance-Summer-Tyre-Test.htm a 225/50 R16 W (96) comes in at just over £103 per corner - liking the fact there is a 7mm kerb protector on them
  20. unfortunately no they are not - is your car fitted with fold in mirrors that move when you cut the ignition? would that help?
  21. I think that might be a little too much he unfortunately wrapped a standard car - I think this would be a little too much too soon - now if he bought it kept his honda and did some trackdays in it that could work
